US Open 9-Ball, 2023, Atlantic City, Sep 25-30

Lordy. Impossible to pick a favorite. The eventual winner will have won six straight matches in that field -- the strongest ever for an Open?
Definitely one of strongest ever not sure if it is strongest. Most major open events this decade these days have minimum 2 dozen x800+. Though so far none have had 30 or more 800+ (out of possible 50 or 60 x800+ if we count officially 40x800+ and bunch of hidden /unofficial 800+who are either inactive or do not have enough games for robust rating and few who should be promoted to 800+ soon like Moritz, Chang Yu Lung).
One thing for sure, the competition and number of players who can win majors this decade is way more than past decades. Appleton said on podcast that during his time, there were maybe 10-15 elite players, now there are around 50 or 60 who can win a major.
That 50 or 60 is basically those 800+ players.

Was that a YouTube snip? Seems to have YouTube control features in the image. I also have never had a problem with YouTube captures.

As mentioned, DAZN has arranged for the Windows screen to go black for any captures. Do you have a way around the DAZN protection?
Try this workaround, turn off hardware acceleration in your Chrome settings

Some people are awfully tough to please.
Right? They want more payouts but bitch if it’s not free. They bitch about the announcing. They bitch about the music. They bitch about the color of the balls.
Im just over here thrilled that matchroom is investing and pool is finally heading in a positive direction The tables are quality. The arenas are quality. Starting to get sponsors outside the pool world. the amazing beautiful difficult game that for over 30 years I’ve played and have been driven to be as good as my half blind ass can be at is finaly getting the respect that it deserves and I couldn’t be happier.

lechner through. filler through. will likely play neuhausen in L32.

deluna is knocking out big names, up 9-2 against chang yu lung. edit: won 10-2

they've had other royalty free music at other events. this is some yoga muzak, terrible
Yes - at the BCA/CSI Nationals at the Rio last February- because they were streaming all the Pro event tables - they continually played the royalty free music at the entire venue - and it absolutely sucked.

not impossible that both ko brothers will get knocked out. that would be an upset. big ko down to unknown vietnamese, lil ko tied at 7-7 vs kazakis.

oscar is leading 9-7 against last years quarterfinalist hsieh chia chen

Another tough loss for Neils in this tournament. I believe he has said plenty of times in the past that the US Open is the one tournament he practices and prepares for the most as this title is the one he has always been after.
