We finally have some video clips of Mike's suspected murder:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pC8Lv27_G4s

It took a lot of time to convert the video from the unusual format used in this particular surveillance tape. The security tech pieced together segments of the tape, and timed them each to less than 10 minutes so as to load on to YouTube. This is part one, and runs about 9 minutes. Part two will follow in a week or so.

The suspect is about 5' 7" to 5' 9", and weighs 170 to 190 pounds. He's probably in his mid to late 40's. He is relatively soft spoken, and attempts to gain people's confidence. He wore a light blue long-sleeved dress shirt, and charcoal slacks.

As you can see on the video, his obvious features are a receding hairline and a sharp nose line. He wore his dark hair pulled back into a ponytail, and he wore a mustache/goatee at the time. Of course the hair may have changed since 11-10-09.

If you may know who this guy is, please contact Lt. John Flowers at the Ocean Springs, Miss. police department at (228) 875-2211. If for some reason you can't get in touch with Lt. Flowers, you can contact me at (228) 896-6616, or gulfportdoc@yahoo.com

Please pass this video and information on to anyone who you think might be able to help here. We also may ask for volunteers to help look through various State parolee records to see if we can find this man.

Thanks very much!

Doc

PUT THIS ON YOUTUBE!!!
We can be our own "America's Most Wanted."
Let's get this guy!

Its some kinda tragedy that, with this tape, they didnt catch him within a week. I assume he borrowed that stick from someone in there. If not-the info isnt out there which would be prima facie evidence of a complete BOONDOGGLE! (which i have always suspected)

it appears there are much better pictures of him in this video... wonder why they never used those to circulate a long time ago:confused:

Thanks for following up on this Doc. I want this bastrd caught. It really makes me angry these type of people get to eat and go about their pathetic lives like nothing ever happened, all this time.

I hope his stay in prison is short when he does get caught. Meaning a Dahmer type exit.

He is playing off the wall. He grabs the cue right before the other guy broke.
Are they on a barbox?
Check how the guy looks for the balls on the side of the first table.
He tried to rack on that one before the guy with the hat came over.

Contention: The guy is a barbox player. He also does not step into his shot very well.

Wonder what the guy with the hat heard. At one point they appear to speak??

That cue looked like it had a joint and a wrap to me but im probably wrong or they have very different house cues there.

Surely someone can identify this guy and let Mike rest in peace. I can't believe the killer has not been caught yet. Hopefully this video will help. Tom

I really hope they catch this guy, that is such a tragedy. From what I hear Mike was a great guy and always willing to help people. What a shame.

Doc, could you get this video over to AMW? They have the story on their website and maybe now with some video they might run it on the TV show or at least post the video on the site.

Video of Mike Surbers suspect

Does anyone else think this guys shirt looks strange on him?
Like he just got out of jail somewhere and they issued him a shirt?

(He is playing off the wall. He grabs the cue right before Mark broke.)

Is Mark the guy he was playing? Has anyone talked to him?

Well done, Doc. This will make a difference for sure. If I can figure out how to get a YouTube on the website, I will.

Is there a reason why it says part one? Is there another video coming soon?
