Video of "The Shot" on The Action Report

The 6 Ball ??? Too bad McNugget doesn't seem trustworthy or he could get backed at that game. You could stake the other side & have your pick of Banks or McMinn. You boys are now sounding like the monkeys. The person I got the info from is very reliable & very close to McNugget. Would have no reason to lie to me, as you do. Why would someone tell me that McNugget plays 4 balls better than you say? Yeah, ok

What reason do I have to lie to you or anyone else here? None. Do I stake Jamie? No. Did I try to make a game with you? No. So why the hell do you want to call me a liar? YOUR INFO MAN IS COMPLETELY OFF THE AIR!!! If your man is feeding you that bad of info don't quit your day job cause he is costing you money.....

And, since you keep bringing it up--again, I gamble more in a month than McNugget & you do together in a year. Also, there is another delusional line of thinking that pool players have that you brought up about McNugget. Just because you go busted, doesn't show that you have heart. In my mind, it shows stupidity. Thankfully, there are guys out there that can't realize this & keep coming back for more--well at least for more with their $7000 bankroll in their pocket.

When did I bring what up? Once again as you always do, you have to flex your ego and tell all of us how much YOU gamble..... Contratulations, you gamble more than we do. Would you like a plaque or something??? BTW, what delusional thing did I bring up about "McNugget" anyway? If you don't think Jamie has heart go sing that song somewhere else..... I have known the kid since he was 13 and he has always bet high, bet his own, and matched up with anyone of any speed. For the past 10 years! Has he went busted along the way? Absolutely. How many out there haven't went busted a few times. But he was "on the pump" for most of it too..... Jamie went to Olathe with $8,000 in his pocket and put $7,000 of it in play on one bet. It takes more than a faint pulse to pull that trigger.......... I will bet you something though.... Ray aka Billychips has so much gamble that he will bet you into a coma. You may have more gamble than Jamie and I but you got no shot against our hero Ray, promise you that....

We have a guy here in town that likes to play races to 7 for 30 bags of sand. Funny, you, McNugget, Corey have never come to try to get some. Bartrum, who 95% of the time shows heart, did.

Who? Carl? Never heard of him... Wait...... It's coming back to me! I was down with Chris the first time he played Carl 6-7 years ago!!! Surprised? You shouldn't be, you know everything. I have never been to The Sports Center, Lutmans place, The Break, or 5-6 others in the STL area either..... Have any other things you want to enlighten me with???

Saw>>>>> Has obviously never left the house......

BTW, anyone that thinks Bart shows heart less than 100% of the time is an raving lunatic...................

How About This Rule?

A while back when a bunch of people and myself would play in ring games almost on a nightly basis, we all agreed to implement a rule that would prevent players from doing "business". If you pass a shot to the next player and he makes a money ball, or runs out, the person who passed the shot has to pay for everyone to that player. As a result, nobody ever passed a shot unless they were totally locked up in jail behind a ball, or there was absoloutely no shot. Everyone seemed to like this rule. What do you all think of it?

They play by the same rule in my room, generally. It definitely keeps players from working together. I think that is a great way to keep it HONEST..

Excellent rule. Stops all the monkey business in its tracks!

what if the guy just shits it in, 6 rails and it falls, some people just get lucky and I wouldn't want to have to pay "X" amount of people if it was a legitimate pass.

Doesn't pass it forward

work just as well?

Regardless, all the players will be forced to do their best in running out the table.

That's also a reason why the rule is implemented. It's to discourage passing shots forward in general, not just to prevent players doing business. It makes the game funner if you are going for crazy shots.

i was sayin

if i can see the ball im going to shoot it, but what i was saying, if it was a legitamate pass, and the ball was frozen on all sides by other balls, i wouldnt want to pay the whole gang if joe lucky gets up there and pulls one out of his ass and gets out.

So try hard to run the table then, it was your mistake to pass the shot anyways if you look at it.

u are off the air

We can argue all we want about how Jamie plays. Your source is terrible. Find a new one or you will never match up right. As for your boy Carl, I have been staking Chris playing him. Been on the winning side more times than not. He is good action, if you can withstand all the bullshit. You might remember this since u are such the gambler. A few years ago, Chris had him stuck maybe 4 ahead in a 8 ahead set. Carl basically agreed to allow the place to close (you and I know he could have kept it open) They agreed to play the next day, no big deal. Chris gets there the next day and the bar box they were playing on is totally different. Carl had the table recovered! Pretty slick. Pretty shitty. He was getting some ridiculous spot with the breaks. I am sure you felt like you got out of that trap. Carl wouldnt pay the 4 games, so Chris left. So, know, I doubt corey is breaking his neck to gamble with him. I am sure he wants way too much. As for yourself, why don't you tell us of your gambling exploits and why you consider yourself such a stud! I have personally never heard shit about you, which really doesnt mean anthing. Lets hear it champ. Oh yeah, why are you always runing your mouth about the size of other peoples bankrolls?

Ding ... Ding .... Ding!!!

That's an excellent rule, and would certainly give one a pause for the cause, wouldn't it? Not mention, could get real expensive real fast!!!

You got 'Green' rep coming ..... <sly lil grin> :D

sorry

I just reread the original scenario. When I have played in ring games, we pass the shot back to the person who fouled, but i still would have a problem paying everyone if he would get out of something that I know would be just a fluke shot.

Of course I remember. But I have never been in with Carl. It is not like he needs to corporate to get a bet down. What happened to Chris most likely had something to do with bad karma, I'll leave it at that. Not something that I would do while gambling but the 'sucker is always right' comes into play when dealing with Carl.

And I only run my mouth when people like McNugget like to talk about how much they will play for, etc etc and then when they finally show up, it becomes clear that their entire bankroll is in their pocket. Again, just because you go FLAT busted gambling on pool doesn't make you a gambler or show heart. It shows stupidity.

I don't gamble much on pool. Most of the big money matches are phoney & I didn't pull a dollar bill out of my pocket last year at the DCC because of it. Also, why would you stake a pool game & give up 30-40% when you can gamble almost anywhere else & GET odds on your money. Just as you admitted that you wouldn't stake a game that was gambling, yourself.

ok I just read all 16 pages.I want to know how many azb'ers tried to replicate "the shot"?:D
Come on it has been almost 6 years, you can come clean now!:grin-square:
