Just what you've been wanting;)

Cool table Glen right before I ordered the Diamond I signed papers on one of these and then canceled the deal at the last moment. I love the way the Diamond plays, but I have a soft spot for Gold Crowns. Someday I will have both.

No I'm not there I'm afraid. Someone has to stay home and do the work :) YEs I remember that old cue rack that was amazing and a real collectors piece. Earl is not there he has a touch of the flu and he is going to Japan on the 4h of Feb so he is just resting up.

If anyone is in the market for an identical table in new condition (only used once on the Women's Tour), contact me. We have four more just like it. They are selling for $9,000 new, we have them at a greatly reduced price! PM me for more info.

Wow, that is a shooters table. <drool>

How are the pockets (size, shelf, etc) vs a Diamond pro-am?
Simonis 860 Green, installed my normal way with the glue I use and only stapled in the pockets. Stretch is 3" side to side...very tight!

My normal RKC pocket finishing.

In order to mount the pocket castings flush you have to remove some of the wood where they mount, and shim the castings to fit like this. Factory don't fit this good. Then, the Brunswick ProCut pocket comes at 4 9/16" corners, but with their 1/8" facings, and pocket angles are at 142 degrees with 12 degrees down angle. Because one of the pockets on one side had a 140 degree angle cut making it a smaller pocket than the other three, I removed all the facings, cut back each angle by 1/16" of an inch, corrected all the pocket angles to 142 degrees, and changed all the down angles to 15 degrees. Then replaced all the facings with 3/16" neoprene facings. Pockets are still at the Brunswick spec's being 4 9/16" but now the pocket facings will never get brittle hard down the road like they normaly do on Brunswick's.

I met Carlos (back2good1) a few months back, and he told me how pleased he was with your recent work on his table. He showed me some things on a Diamond table (on which he was using me for dinner money, but since which I have grown a ball, 'cause I took notes).

Anyway, he showed me staples, and gaps, and inconsistencies in cloth tightness. Carlos said: "NONE of this exists when Glenn does a table and I am glad I waited for him."

I recently played on a GCIV and loved it much more than the GCIII's I am most accustomed to. But I have never seen a GCV up close, much less this tourney edition. This table is the stone cold nuts and I would (dam near) cut a pinky off for one, but only if you put it together!

Nice work (understatement)!!

When I come back, I wanna be a RealKingCobra table!

I wonder what is going to happen to Fatboy's old 'triple-mint-all-da-nutz' GC4 that got punted out to make room for the GC5?
