When he tried to get out of one of my "Locked Up Tighter Than Janitor in a Drum, Safeties." Thats When! :grin: His Diamond plays the Lights Out Nuts versus his GC. I would also give some big time kudo's to the Marc Lehmacher Atlantis Table from the 90's. That was a straight pool players table for sure!Look, I'm a fan of Diamond tables so let's not make this into me being a hater. But I gotta ask....
When do you actually need to make the ball go 5 and a half table lengths?

Oh by the way this is my table if you folks are wondering what my opinion is![]()

Good question, I know that Diamond farms the pockets out to another company. The cool thing about this method is when you are done you have to look real close to even notice the color change because the inside of the pockets are still a dark gray.

Hand sanitizer....when put on a rag, and used to wipe down the inside of the pocket where the balls hit...will remove all the excess dye from the leather...and when used to wipe off the balls from the black marks....will remove them in seconds![]()
@topic,
in my opinion there are several tables which are built with much more quality than diamond-tables.
Heat stroke is all I can say in my defence....I'm working outside rebuilding some rails down here in Phoenix, AZ....![]()
What is the price of a new GC?. Brunswick charges way too much for anything billiards related. Johnnyt

The poolroom in Roanoke has old Kim Steele tables, along with a couple of Diamonds. The Kim Steele tables have tape holding the pockets on them. I like the tables except for the crappy pockets.
