What kind of cue does Alex use?

I was just going to ask the same question after watching him play Bustamante on tv. Judging from the logos on his shirt, Bustamante was using a Bear/predator combination.

If Pagulayan is using a Schon it is one without a steel joint. The ferrule also appeared to shorter than normal.

Alex was just on ESPN with a Mezz logo on his shirt. I'm not sure, but I think his playing cue was a Mezz. It didn't look like a Schon to me.

He's sponsored by Mezz, so I doubt he was playing with a Schon. Mezz is the best playing production cue out there, by the way. :)
I was going by what he had played with for years. I didn't know he had taken a sponsorship w/ Mezz.

With a Predator shaft, how much difference could the butt make? Thickness, feel, look, pride of ownership, etc, but the action is in the shaft.

Come on man, focus. We need to know. What kind of beer were you drinking, maybe that will spark your memory.

being from here i can tell you up front this is a wreck looking for a place happen.

lol - maybe the Action Report needs to have players standing by in case "something" happens to the main event player(s).

Or the players can have designated seconds to step in and play. :-)

Mezz with Hybrid shaft. I just replaced the wrap on it, to one that's not as smooth as linen but not as course as lizard skin, after he put long utility blade cuts on its original leather wrap to add a little traction to it. LOL

The Schon's warped and now is in a display case.

Mezz

Just went to the Mezz cue website. That is for sure the cue he is using.
