Who is missing from THIS LIST?

Anyone know where a 10' Table is near Dallas/Ft. Worth?

C.J. Wiley

Not a lot of travel time necessary....

I'm 80% right now, I'll know for sure by the end of this week and register. I want to play in the 10' Table one, just can't seem to find a table around this whole area of Texas.

Anyone know where a 10' Table is near Dallas/Ft. Worth? There's one snooker table I may have to use, but would prefer a pool table. I just heard the one I had in my pool room is going out of town this weekend to get fixed up by Mark G. That's too bad, I liked that one.

Just an IMPORTANT NOTE: All players must stay at Harrah's Tunica for this event and the cutoff date for the very low hotel rate is on June 6, FOUR DAYS FROM TODAY.

I just called and they told me the special group was SOLD OUT-They are now asking $120 per room-the worst one.

The list of missing talent is huge TBH

Jung Lin Chang
Che Wei Fu
He Wen Li
Chin Shun Yang
Pin Yi Ko
Hai Tao Liu
Thorsten Hohmann
Chris Melling
Karl Boyes
Nick Van Den Berg
Nick Ekonomopoulos
Roberto Gomez
Yu Lun Chang
Daryl Peach
Antonio Gabica
Chia Ching Wu
Mark Gray
Po Cheng Kuo

There are more, there is another entire tournament that could be built from the people "not" in the Ultimate 10-ball that in fact would be a stronger field then that which are playing when you take the above and throw in the already mentioned people like Alex, Luat, Alcano, ect...

It is sad TBH, how many of the top pro golfers in the world "don't" go and play the Masters? We basically get to see the best of the best in that sport take on each other on a truly massive challenge to win a title they all want more then anything. Pool, even the world championships draws maybe 50% of the worlds elite talent at any one time to play an event.

And people still ask "what is so wrong with pool?"

the "pool scene" in Dallas and the players there are not motivated to improve

what do you think you need to work on Cj? potting or moving the cue ball around the table?

My game's fundamentally sound, just need some steady competition, I haven't played anyone sense Scott Frost and Mike Frost in Vegas almost a year ago. The 10' Table takes a few days to adjust to because I have to hit every shot around 20% firmer than normal and that takes my stoke "out of balance" for 3 days.

I just need to compete against some top players for 3 days in a row to have a chance to actually win the tournament. This is "easier said than done," there's only one around Dallas to even practice with (for a few "chips") , and just a couple in Ft. Worth. The action in the 90s was really strong around here, it's amazing how it's died down, mostly from neglect I would venture to guess. It' just needs some "water, passion, and sunshine".

We're going to start doing some Free Seminars over there to help get some positive momentum started. Once I get another pool room opened I'll put together a plan to start a "pool trend" in the DFW again, and with the help of a few TV Events constant presence of top players, and lot's of commercials I'm pretty sure it will happen. It's only a matter of time.

I have no recollection :-)

CJ I wanna see a bonus ball video from you...thorsten supposedly ran a 60 which after seeing those top players struggle I just can't see a lot of people being able to do that. See what you can do might be more challenging than those sick one pocket ghost runs.

Win Tunica!!!!

I think the "Mike" I played was from Kentucky if I remember correctly.

I think the "Mike" I played was from Kentucky if I remember correctly. I played ok after a few days in Vegas, but I was still had a "piece of the puzzle out of place".

My style is fairly ideal for Bonus Ball and running a game of it was relatively easy, I did that the first time I played it and the rules were tougher at that time. It's not as difficult as running all the balls in one pocket, or beating the 15 Ball Ghost.imho The toughest part of the game is remembering the orange ball is NOT the 5 Ball. ;)

When we were playing you had to make the last ball in one of your pockets as usual, then they changed it to "any pocket" on the last ball which made it too easy. imo I'm not sure what my high run could be, I think 43 or 46 is what I ran after playing it a couple of times, so 60 is certainly in range.

I've been busy and haven't had time to watch any of the BB matches, and I'm not even sure what the new rules are, I'd have to read them and see if they're different than a year ago when I was playing it.

I was just kidding, I was giving my buddy DP shit he texted me like yo you played CJ I'm like yeah hijacked him. You did play a Frost from Kentucky though just not Mike, dig harder in your memory. I was there for that though.

I don't see much easy about bonus ball on the tight table they play on. Maybe its all nerves though its early in the season but what I've seen of two matches...a 60 seems damn tough...gotta two rail balls shoot a lot of combos. ...good break shot...they've made the game look so hard it has actually intrigued me

CJ,

This list of missing players is who is missing from the Ultimate 10 Ball Championships. It's played on Diamond 9ft Pro-Ams. $75,000 added!

You can contact Jay Helfert for a possible spot in the Big Foot Challenge which is part of the Southern Classic and is played on 10fts. It runs concurrent to this event.

Ray

Lots of missing names to pick from on this list.

Personally I'd like to find out what happened to Bernie Friend. Someone should do a "Where are they now?" segment on all the players. I think it would be interesting.

Why won't anyone put "Lock n Load" in the tournament? It would be a nice gesture from all you guys at Buffalo Billiards "The Worlds Pool Hall" to put him in for everything he does for you all.

Matter of fact, I don't know why AZBilliards doesn't put him in for everything he does on here.
