I only have 1 comment and it's not directed at JAM, or anyone. It's a good deal to put up your own expenses, hotel, stake, etc, to play on the internet if you think you're gonna win.
Just for the record, we pay hotel expenses for our matches or give a percentage of the gate whichever is more. Hotel is ALWAYS more.

We did roughly 12 of our own events last year. There was over $200,000 won in those events. I can think of less than $30,000 that was put in by the players. We have paid out over $7000 in DVD profit sharing to players with more to come. All in about 18 months.

You are right, what player would ever want anything to do with that.

We are far from perfect but we bust our ass for our customers and the players and backers who work with us.

As far as what it takes to put together a match, if you think it is no big deal and such a good deal for the promoter I suggest you go and give it a try.

Well, JCIN, that's not the business I have chosen to pursue. I wish you success. I know that it cannot be easy.

I myself got into debt over pool beginning in 2002, I think was the year. Going to three and four tournaments every month is expensive, but I'm preaching to the choir with you. I know you're aware of how expensive it is on the road. Week-long events can be draining not only financially, but physically, emotionally, and mentally.

I am kind of surprised that you had no knowledge about Harry Platis. I really, really am.

Harry wanted this match between Billy and Keith to take place elsewhere, where there would not be a distraction of a large tournament like the Open. He even suggested a "friend's house" in Vegas to have it take place. These are Harry's words and not mine, and I know I relayed them to Chad.

It's kind of funny that everybody working on this match between Billy and Keith knew about this except you. Billy certainly knew it, as did Harry Platis. It is unfortunate that I have deleted those PMs that I wrote to Chad, but I wrote him about it more than once. I also spoke with him on the telephone about Harry Platis staking Keith.

It is kind if disheartening to read your response on this thread.

What grade are you in.....3rd?

Who are you trying to piss off here? Are you making a statement about Jam's weight or JCIN's?

Just stating the facts as I know them. Miscommunications happen all time and it appears that this is the case here. Sorry it didnt work out, I hope you and Keith do well and I hope the world gets to see him play again.

Doesn't Chad communicate with you? I don't get it. This thread and others have been hurtful to me personally.

Wishing you all the best, JCIN. I hope other players are more forthcoming and can come up with that $10,000 to play on TAR. Sorry Keith and I couldn't afford it. Sorry that Harry Platis didn't want to have it happen at the U.S. Open.

Vette (the poll master) - Do a poll on what player most people would like to see on TAR? .......but we don't need a poll cause I can tell you from reading this board for over 2 years, the winner would be Keith.

That being said, if there was a miscommunication on this and if Harry was ready to put his money up that would be shocking but a shame. JCIN - you are a big person for biting the bullet on this one and not seeming to try to get the last word in but people must realize that Chad (your business partner) and you must communicate pretty often. Especially on the possibility of a match of this magnitude.

I have dealt with TAR for two matches and everything was crystal clear and professional. It is a great deal for the player. Hotel paid, DVD $$$ to come and a chance to actually bet something and win something. All in an atmosphere that is guaranteed, none of the usual changing of the game, player not showing up, waiting for days to even get a game that goes along with pool. Seriously, what more can a pool player ask for? If that is not good enough for the pool player than nothing ever will be.

Looks like JC got his 'Net battles cherry popped. You'll be an old pro in no time.

Apparently the Saw is a track star.

Matt <--- has seen JCIN, thinks he's very nice man

McCready vs Bartram

Its my understanding that Keith hasn't played any serious pool in over a year. He has lost alot of speed during the last year and you now want him to play a world class player?

It ain't worth it for Keith to get back in stroke (even for him it would probably take a couple of months) for only 10,000.00. He probably wouldn't do it for 25,000.00. It's just not worth the time and trouble.

The people who have seen Keith play in his prime know how good he played. He is certainly one of the top 5 players EVER in 9 Ball with roll out rules. Again, if you seen him in his prime there would be no arguements here and if you didn't you missed something very very special.
