I’ve been thinking and I may vote for Willie myself. I started thinking back on some of his posts at it really is astounding the unique perspective he approaches the game with. For example here is a post he made in a thread long ago suggesting his favorite drill.
Williebetmore said:Allow me to suggest a drill that has been helping my game improve by leaps and bounds. It is a drill developed specifically for me by one of the greatest instructors in the world.
Place the cue ball on the head spot. Take a full open stance. Address the cue ball and aim for the precise point of the middle diamond on the foot rail. Now stroke with a medium firm stroke using center ball with a full follow through. Repeat continuously for 10 minutes or until you actually contact the cue ball whichever comes first.
