I’ve been thinking and I may vote for Willie myself. I started thinking back on some of his posts at it really is astounding the unique perspective he approaches the game with. For example here is a post he made in a thread long ago suggesting his favorite drill.

Allow me to suggest a drill that has been helping my game improve by leaps and bounds. It is a drill developed specifically for me by one of the greatest instructors in the world.

Place the cue ball on the head spot. Take a full open stance. Address the cue ball and aim for the precise point of the middle diamond on the foot rail. Now stroke with a medium firm stroke using center ball with a full follow through. Repeat continuously for 10 minutes or until you actually contact the cue ball whichever comes first.

( how much are votes going for nowadays )

SB,
I'm offering one dollar (or pint) more than breakup offers.

Of course, so far, he has only offered to pay people off in marmot pelts.

Is That A 2007 Paper Dollar ?

Doug I guess you will have to settle for five blowjobs and a dollar.

WBM wins again, I withdraw my offer

SB,
The services will be provided by a transvestite named Earl (?Earline?) who is currently working the Super Bowl. At $2 per, it will be money well spent; hell I thought I would have to pay at least $15 for your vote. At least I don't have to pay any Social Security tax on Earline's wages.

I will say that breakup's offer of personal services is just SICK.

Ewwwwwwww, I thought we were talking about the alcoholic drink (a shooter) called a 'blow job'. I'm outta this thread. You might call it a premature evacuation.

You hit it on the head Doug. Willie was offering a pint and I followed suit. I have no idea where he came up with “personal services” that is just sick!

breakdown,
So I'm to understand that you and Dougie frequently go into a bar, and ask the bartender for a "blow job." How does that turn out generally (seems like a really bad idea to me; but then again, I don't think Jodie Foster "wants me")???

Your Attorney isn't a big Samoan with a gallon of ether, a salt shaker full of cocaine, 50 hits of blotter acid and a penchant for bad vibes is he???

breakdown,
Well, since you ask, I'll re-post a link to the thread describing my match with Efren as my partner - seen worldwide on BCN last year.

http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=24440

Please note specifically the parts about the number of balls we missed during the match (ahhh, lets see...it was somewhere around.....ZERO); and the part about Efren asking me for weight when I challenged him to a match afterwards.

Many, many thanks to the raffle organizer who made such a "Fantasy Match" possible for two lucky AZB'ers (myself and mthornto); and also to Jeanette Lee for her efforts in arranging the match. Many thanks to breakup for entering the raffle - his bad luck ensured that the more fortunate, talented, handsome, and deserving members would win.

lol, I just watched fear and loathing Saturday night.
:D
What a trip

For the Edward Abbey fan or two out there, this is shaping up as George Hayduke vs. Doc Sarvis. Until persuaded otherwise, I'm leaning to the character who when hassled about littering when he tossed a tall-boy from his truck, said, "Beer cans are beautiful. It's roads that're ugly.":D

I view this thread not as an excuse to bicker with Willie but as an opportunity to celebrate his diverse accomplishments in the past year. Accomplishments that not only affected the AZB membership but the pool community as a whole. Many may be unaware of the magnitude of the contributions of this multifaceted renaissance man. Let’s take a little stroll down memory lane and just pick out some of the highlights of Williebetmore in 2006.

He had that popular write-up in a national magazine.

He was the inspiration for numerous billiard accessories.

He himself remained coherent long enough to conduct an interview himself.

And many many more too numerous to mention.

As anyone can see Willie is a tough act to follow, thanks Willie for all you have done for pool in 2006
