I must have missed something major. i have no clue what this feud is about. from what i gather they played some at the DCC, and it sounds like things were left unsettled. i love watchin this unfold, funny stuff.

Can someone fill me in on what this is all about?

Its good natured ribbing at its best! These are two guys with a good sense of humor that don't let testosterone get in the way of having fun.

I think it really started and got going when Williebetmore was the person in charge of a raffle at the DCC. The two winners got to play scotch doubles with Jeanette Lee and Efren Reyes. (someone fill in the blanks here please) I think WBM changed a rule during the raffle... something about allowing more people to enter or something to that effect. In the end, WBM was one of the winners and breakup spent many months on here picking on WBM about it while WBM rubbed it in breakups face. :D

That's the gist of it to the best of my knowledge. I'm a lil fuzzy on the details but I know it started at the DCC and I believe the raffle was the begining of what we're all enjoying today. :p

i know its good natured. its very funny.

whenevr breakup posted about some guy shooting him an air barrel when he was 19 and willie pretty much said it was him, i almost died laughing.
 
Yes, it's quite the war of words, but we're quickly closing in on the main event....

All I know is that one of the most anticipated matchups at this year's DCC will be the Willie/Breakup 14.1 grudge match. Once they decide the date/time, we'll have to post it in the AZ room.

The word is they are trying to put the matchup on the TV table, which would be great. We all know how well Willie plays on the DCC TV table, so he'll have no excuses!

Hey, has anyone suggested a trophy to go along with the "bag-o-sand" that is being wagered? Maybe I'll have to come up with some type of trophy to presented to the winner, and possibly passed back and forth if the matchup continues from year to year. Thoughts/suggestions?

A trophy I don't have but with a little luck I can get my NC router back in operation by then. I envision two plaques, a world champion plaque ala Mike Sigel's single match win, and a dead assed last plaque for the loser. :D

If my machine isn't running I'll chip in a few dollars towards a fund for similar trophies if it suits everyone and then we can search for a proper spokesperson to present the forever to be cherished awards.

Good natured???? Funny???

I guess it's good natured in the way the Adolph Hitler was good natured. Funny in the way that cyanide in the punch bowl is funny.

Breakup is a hideously deranged, borderline psychotic (and I won't tell you which side of the border he is on); with absolutely no pool skill or knowledge; who in his blind jealousy (of me) has become a danger not only to himself, but to society at large. If it wasn't for the skill of his keepers (there at the Anchorage Delicatessen and Home for the Criminally Insane) we would all be sleepless with worry over our safety.

If I was 6 inches taller and 100 pounds heavier, I'd rip his heart out (oh wait, he doesn't have one) or pound him senseless (oh wait, he's already senseless... see any of his posts for proof). Therefore, we're just going to have to settle it on the felt.


P.S. - here's a link to the description of the Celebrity Scotch Double's Match. Breakup was so infuriated by his failure to win (should have bought more tickets) that he began his vicious attacks - implying that I might have in some very small way rigged the drawing (he can't prove anything, all witnesses well paid). http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=24440

P.P.S. - After the DCC, breakup began a series of baseless accusations and personal attacks (my posts were not personal attacks...hey, if it's true it's not an attack). He also began a series of inventions designed to capitalize on my fame and reputation - all without legal permission. The Feud ...

has ascended in nature to rival that of the 'Hatfields' and the 'McCoys'.
There is no limit to the name callin, plots and schemes that are devised in the dark corners of their minds. I think we might be in for a Hill-to-Hill climactic
ending of this 'feud'..... lol :o :D :o

If you are offering, then I would be pleased.

You should, however, realize that the attributes necessary for a good cornerman when breakup is the adversary are somewhat different than in the usual pool match. Skills I'm looking for are: expertise in the pharmacology of anti-psychotic medication, experience in the handling of wild animals (animal control experience, circus lion taming experience, euthanasia of rabid dogs, etc.), experience in the handling and firing of large caliber weapons, and last (but not in any way the least), beverage service experience (after all, pounding breakup is thirsty work).

I'll beat you so badly that the Red-Headed Stepchild Society will INSIST on using you for their poster boy. Well, I'm heading to the woodshed for some practice (if you can have someone read this post to you, perhaps they can explain the term "practice" - you'll wish you'd done it sooner).

H-man,
I like your ideas. I would think that "Intergalactic Champion" or "Champion of the Known Universe" would be more appropriate (surely we can hype ourselves better than KT). You might as well inscribe breakup's name on the Dead-Assed Last plaque - he's a Hungarian cinch to lose (it's his one area of expertise).

Well, I haven't met Willie but from what I know he is famous for luring the unsuspecting into his basement:p

I did have a frightening encounter with Breakup in Las Vegas, he's as vicious an animal as Willie infers. Those poor beers never stood a chance:D
