Our team ended up in first place this half pre Christmas season. 1st and 2nd place teams skip the play offs and go directly into the finals.

Today we play for a trip to Edmonton Canada to play in the Western Canadian Championships.

I have no idea why I can play pool not half bad and when it comes to a tourney, I can get a few butterflies but this morning, I feel like a nervous Nellie.

I usually play last, so when its a close set, I go into it knowing how many points I need to make. Nothing like putting the pressure on. Yee Haa, here we go.

The tourney format was changed this year so instead of a Round Robin, total points, we are doing a double knock out.

Thanks Doc, we have pretty good team spirit and are supportive of each other. I know I will settle down after the first break.

Gotta skip the coffee and drink some cranberry juice. If I drink coffee, I'll be ricocheting off the walls.

Just think of it in the future as a distant memory. If you look back on stuff like this 20 years ago, do you still get nervous?...

You see, if you have fun, not matter what happens, the nerves and the excitement will only make you remember this experience as a long term memory you can enjoy for a very long time later in life. So you already won no matter what happens, but best of luck to you - breath, take your time and visualize the ball going in (not the other way around!) before you shoot. Be positive - always project it.

Also, as you very well know I am sure - don't get up too soon after the shot. Even the best make that mistake when the stress is on. Enjoy the experience and make a good memory!
