It has been awhile - but Justin and I will be talking about various issues in the pool world.

6 PM -Pacific Time (9pm EST)

We might even venture into the political arena a little (remember the VP debates are tonight).

The last one was quite awhile ago - but it has been TOO long!

We once again encourage you to put forth some topics for us to discuss.

Remember - you can go to TAR youtube page and watch all the past podcasts: http://www.youtube.com/user/theactionreport?feature=results_main

I'd like to hear about ABP politics. However, I'd like to hear your viewpoint if you personally called Charlie/Archer/Walsh, etc. I'd like to know how those conversations went, and what the other side said.

If you haven't personally talked to them, its just more of the same guessing game we have all been reading/writing on the forum the past few weeks.

Get CW on their and do your own debate :) kidding. Glad you are back and it should be very interesting.

Shane/Yang/Alcano you guys going to make this happen or what?

Alcano is possible. Yang I have no way of contacting.

The consensus seems to be people are tired of watching Shane on TAR so you probably will not seem him for awhile.

Future of bonus ball!! How are they producing it for the public or what are their plans for it?? Haven't heard too much about it. Baby steps and all but just curious how they plan on packaging it and selling it to the public.

Is Yang in the country?

I saw a thread a while back saying he is back playing, but pool players always play one way or another. I think he is still competing and if so, he should be at us open and vegas events. Just a guess.

It starts filming in early November, goes for 6 months. Then we shall see what happens.
Give it time.

what/who are you dressing up as on halloween?

does the current player ranking system used by the BCA (coupled with the actual events that are sanctioned by the BCA for gathering points) offer a truly "open" opportunity for "anyone" to play their way to a world championship such as the mosconi cup?

or - is this current system biased in such a way (ie 'seeding') so that someone who is currently a "pro" would have a much easier route to a world championship than someone building rank for the first time?

Lol. People say things all the time about all sorts of stuff...dosent mean its right. I think it will be interesting when the gap is really close and with the mentioned players will have that. I dont understand how people can not appreciate shanes play.

When he was competing at his best in 2001-2007 or so, he never played in the US Open or Vegas. He played once at Mohegan Sun which gives $3k expense money and because he was here, he played in the Big Apple Classic. I know he played in Vegas this year but there may a good explanation for that.

Updates

Give us an update of where everything stands with CW & the ABP vs. Barry and the US Open.
Are any group of players, foreign or domestic, not attending this year's Open?
