I put a similar thread up about a year ago I think and it was rather successful, but we have lots of new and informative members so I thought i'd get some new perspectives. I am working on an SP collection and am going to try and add a cue from each of the most respected and top SP cue makers. Which cuemakers SP would you want in your collection? Run with it ladies and gentlemen. And I'd especially like to hear from cuemakers who participate on here.

With all the respect for all the great cue makers out there, no SP collection will be complete without a Dufferin SP, the true hustler cue...

Well since you already have a Bluegrass sneaky....I think Josey should be pretty high up on your "next" list. A nice TS wouldn't be a bad choice either. As well as an Eric Crisp. :)

I have a very modest collection of SPs.
My SPs:
Keith Josey fancy SP
Pat Diviney butterfly SP
Tim Scruggs
Leonard Bludworth
Dale Perry Speedster
Action

I did have a Predator w/ Z shaft but didn't like it and traded it.
The Blud SP is neat. Very un-pretentious and hits great.
The Josey & Diviney SPs are real nice.

My TS is an older one in excellent condition.

Mike Bender. 1 of 12 made, fortunate to also have a DPK shaft for it. Amazing SP.
:p

I just can't. Dreaming about sneaky petes seem like dreaming about them polygamist women...They may be great for what they're supposed to do but they are soooooo plain lookin.

SP's

A Scruggs (2 types)
A Blud
A Kikel
A Meucci Original

These are all rare but if found, would add a good deal to your collection.

Gus Szamboti made one Sneaky Pete which is available from a private collector for $1500. That would make a great addition!

Nice picks so far. My original list of SP's i wanted to get was bluegrass, Frey, Scruggs, Josey, Rat and Zyler. But of course the list continues to grow. Please keep the opinions coming.
