They did that at least at one tournament. I was surprised how high some heart rates went. It would be interesting to see that again, too.I would love to see a heart rate monitor too.
You can then tell which players are the most nervousm
Imagine seeing Tyler's heart rate in the Mosconi.
It’s why I asked for clarity on your question. Are you saying yes of course we we’ve had players with microphones and have plenty of past matches to leverage to learn to do it better? Is that what you’re asking cause that didn’t sound like you’re asking that’s why I’m asking for clarity.35 yrs ago is quite different than 2026.
Just like any tip, you get really good ones, and some bad ones. I'm glad you got a good one. The first moori i brought two years ago was awesome, when that one worn down. I brought another, that was not so good. There are ones just as good you can buy for $20.and more consistent, So much choice around now. but Its hard to beat ultra skin and thoroughbred im my opinion!!I just put Moori Medium tips on my Carbon Whyte and and my Meucci Carbon Pro shaft they are the same as they have always been just a consistent medium layered tip... nothing has changed with the tips. what is the problem?
35 yrs ago is quite different than 2026.I need clarity. I’ve watched many many matches where the the players were mic’d up. It was always a challenge as the microphone, which was often clipped to the shirt, would get rubbed by the cue stick.
Is it a certain discussion you want to hear from the player like make them do self commentary?
All of these were player-mic’d as were several throughout the 90’s. Some of the players were naturally going to speak more (e.g. Mataya, Sigel). There are many more examples on youtube for sure.

I love seeing how hard they have to stroke on every shot.Brought back a memory so I found the match. Remember at times hearing a lot of breathing.

I only saw one example, but the clock did stop when Sky had the CB cleaned, as well. When Gerson did it vs Bergman, fairly certain the clock stopped.

Awhile back I saw this PGA situation in Play/they may still do it, players are mic'd up and talking about their up coming shot as they walk to it.
I think it could work in pool, because I Know I talk to myself saying such.... ''make sure I stay on This side of my next ball/shot".
Or more concerning, take care of Whitey more than the shot.
I'd truly enjoy hearing what Gorst/or any great player, what he's saying to himself when he choses some of his shots.
Often the cue ball placement is waaaaaay more important than the shot and often allot more is going on than just those two concerns.
