Hello Pocket, You don't know me, but I've heard you purchased a GC 1 Pool Table, as did "rexus31" (Scott D.) a while back from the same place. He and I have been conversing a bit lately, because he and I are restoring a GC1, and I hear that you are as well.

Anyway, Scott and I were discussing the age of our tables, his is a bit newer than mine we figure, because his Bridge Decal has a Patent Number, but my Decal does not have the number. Scott also mentioned your table has the number also on your Decal. Another item on mine (and I hear yours), is the 2 Long Aluminum Hangers on the Side Aprons, and only 1 Hanger for the Front Apron. Whereas his has 4 short 5" Hangers on the side Aprons. We figured Brunswick maybe changed that later, to save money.

Long story short, I just wanted to introduce myself to you..another GC1 Pool Table owner/restorer, and possibly discuss our tables similarities/differences.

Hope you don't mind me writing to you.

Best Regards..David in Michigan

Anything you do with carbon fiber and slow speeds almost seems exaggerated. Took me forever to get use to that. I don’t jump, but I do masse a little depending on the range.
Glad you like the 15k also. Do you miss jumping with the standard cue and CF? Do you notice any difficulty with Masse? I am trying to relearn how to cut (more) on shots that require heavy English.
I take it you didn't get to see them live. Read that promoters would have to play the National Anthem to get crowds to calm down b/c the Kangaroos drew so much heat.
The tips are original to the cue, one shaft never been chalked the other only shot a couple games, this is a really nice like new cue in black and white. Like most of Tads better cues.
Gene Stanlee was "Mr. America". Do The Fabulous Kangaroos, The Bastien Brothers, Tolos Brothers and Cowboy Bob Ellis also ring a bell?
Ah! Read about Studio Wrestling and how it regularly featured talent from CWC/WWWF as well as a few other territories in the Northeast. I gotta remember that many territories/promoters used the same talent back then.
Thank you for your response and for the compliment. I am pleased you enjoy the videos 👍🏻 That’s exactly the type of thinking that I’m trying to spread with positivity and hard work. Peace ✌🏻
Hey Nostroke did you watch Capitol Wrestling hosted by Ray Morgan in the late '50s and early '60s? I came across one of your old posts mentioning Dr. Jerry Graham and an Indian wrestler (who I assume was Chief Big Heart during a search for Antonino Rocca.
Hey lunchmoney did you watch Capitol Wrestling hosted by Ray Morgan in the late '50s and early '60s? I came across one of your old posts mentioning Haystack Calhoun in the All time favorite wrestlers thread during a search for Antonino Rocca. I ask b/c I'm a longtime WWE fan and have developed quite an interest in its history recently.
Hey Tom did you watch Capitol Wrestling hosted by Ray Morgan in the late '50s and early '60s? I came across one of your old posts mentioning Buddy Rogers, Argentina Rocca and The Fabulous Kangaroos during a search for Fabulous Kangaroos.
i wanted a willie hoppe for a long time. got one and had some work done on it. new wrap, joint, joint screw, butt cap, bumper. i thought about getting it cut down but: it is such a fine break cue i am keeping it as is. for my stroke it is the best break cue i've had as far as power to the rack. not sure of the weight.
