Did you ever find out about your Schon SL-8? I have one like yours with a black w/ red specks wrap. Same "hand cut" diamonds and straight ivory bars unlike the SL-8 's of the actual series. I am really curious why there would be a version with hand cuts and then machined versions. I have another Schon I bought with hand cut diamonds and I can't find a single picture online of anything even close. Anyway, your cue is the only one I've ever found like mine.

Hey remember that post last week about the SW cue. I think there might be something going on, do you have the original email he sent to you? I can't find the post. I did try to buy it to see what would happen. I used paypal credit and paid via invoice, so not worried about not getting my money. I just want to week out this guy if it is a scam and let everyone know. He has been responding to me via emails which is strange if he is scamming. But so far he has sent two packages ( or his girlfriend has) to wrong addresses.

I have another question Doc,
I saw a thread that you make, or at least made a case or two. I'd like to find a nice piece of leather that hasn't been sliced thin and completely processed. Tanned yes - but still having the suede on the opposite side of the leather. I don't want to spend an arm and a leg, and I'm only looking for a piece maybe 1'x1' .. or at most a square yard. It can be irregular shaped - perhaps a scrap from something.
Should I look on ebay? Just google leather? ... or would you already know a good place to look.
