J L will be playing her rematch tonite. Race to 21 for 20 dimes. Her camp wanted to go to 30 but Guemo's camp wouldn't hear of it. The Puerto Rican's willl bet higher, much higher if J L wants to! This is scheduled for 10 ball on a 9' table. Just think, there are still two days left if this needs to continue!!!

Well, there are no limits to how high Jeanette can go, if she is so inclined!

I wonder

what was the score of the first match? Please let us know the outcome....Thanks....

I wonder if she will "quit" when someone on the rail "buys" her and doesn't split?

Oh, sorry that was for $100 bucks and not unlimited...give me a break.
Do I smell something fishy?

JAM...Here's all I could find out...a friend sent me this message:

Just got another report a couple of minutes ago.

JLee and Guimo played even, no spot.

Apparently German (Guimo's backer) played Jeanette's backer even and won against him.

Also was told that J Lee played Guimo's Backer giving him the 6 and she lost.

Apparently the JLee's camp want to play Scotch doubles, 10 ball. Guimo and Ignacio Chavez against Breedlove and JLee's backer. No word if the match has been set.

So...there you have it! Up to date, and clear as mud! I still don't know who won!

That's the way -- uh-huh, uh-huh -- I like it -- uh-huh, uh-huh! :p

GREAT, GREAT, GREAT update. Thanks so much. Scott, you're a real trooper!

Chavez plays really good, he made his way through NC with some players from NY(maybe same guys). I can tell you from personal experience that even when they lose, there is something behind it. They hustle real well. Chavez is a pretty well known player but this other guy isnt someone thats as widely known. Lets see if JL finally can book a winner in a tough tough tough game. Against Chavez no one HAS to win cuz he might not miss.

Jeanette Lee was a gambler long before a tournament player and becoming famous. She could have never got to where she is today by booking more than 50% losers. I would be very surprised if she ever puts up more than a few grand in any of these 5 to 20 grand match-ups. JMO.Johnnyt

You ain't kidding about Chavez not missing! He came through FL a few years ago, and he busted a bunch of people, he played like a damn robot! He played so good the time I watched him, you would've had a had time telling people in that room that he wasn't the best player in the world! lol

She still is a winner and the only thing is that the information is not available to this Forum.
She is a Cancer ( zodiac sign ) and Cancers and Scorpios know how to make money.

JT,
There is a LOT of difference between a "backer" and a "road partner". I'm surprised more people on here haven't made the distinction - the player that backs herself/himself is very admirable in my estimation.

Except for a ring game or two at DCC; I am not aware of either GB or JL having a "backer" this century. Road partners are a WHOLE different thing; sharing equally in losses and victories.

I wonder how many of the critics/skeptics gamble this large on their own dollar......few I think. Remember to include the road partner/partners' performance when tallying up the figures if that is your desire.
