Thanks!

You've been busy Jay, paypal says mine's on the way too. looking forward to a good read.

Got my notice

I got my notice this morning at 5:38 AM. Jay you get up early too, I see. i will email you when I receive it. I can't wait to get my copy. Although it won't get read until August. It's coming with me on our 35th wedding anniversary in Hawaii. I didn't think our trip could get any better but with this book by my side, it just did.

Yours will go out in tomorrow's mail. Ming just got in today and she and Tang are practicing on my table. They want to make it a Ten Ball ring game. I don't want to hurt their feelings so I will probably abstain.

are all the ones from feb. 23rd going out next? cuz i think thats when i ordered mine.

Jay looking forward to the books glad to hear they are in transit to you. Now you have to sign and number a 500 of them which I know is a real job, where I used to work would send out a couple of thousand Christmas cards every year and I signed them all, talk about a job.

I feel ya. Try doing the same thing but with thousands of boxes of cookies that we baked sorted and shipped. Of course the upside was skimming freshly baked cookies. The downside was an extra five pounds or so gained during cookie week.

:-)

Don't feel bad. She kicked my ass last night. I had her 4-1 and lost 9-6. I told her we had time for one set, then we go back to packing books. Afterward, she sat there and helped me pack books for about three hours. Tomorrow our goal is to do 100 more. If we can do 80-100 a day, I'll be caught up by the time we leave for San Diego on Wednesday.

ALL ORDERS right now are going out First Class mail or Priority in the case of multiple orders (two or more books). So once they're in the mail, it shouldn't take long to get there. Will be working on February orders (over 200 total) all day today and tomorrow. Won't even get to the March orders (another 200) until Monday. By the way, I'm dropping off the books at the main post office, so that saves more time on shipping also.

At least we have books finally. It was SO frustrating waiting and checking on them every day. When the books arrived, they were at a shipping dock in Montebello, all the way across L.A. and it was Thursday afternoon. They had scheduled a drop off for the next day at my home in Lawndale, but I asked them if I could come and get them. I drove my pick-up truck across town on surface streets (one hour each way) to get my hands on them. It wasn't an easy place to find either.

I was SO happy when the shipping guy drove that forklift with MY pallet of books and laid them on the back of my truck. Every box had a label that said POOL WARS in big letters. So cool, I FINALLY had some real books! I was elated all the way back across town.

I have to say I'm thrilled to see all the names (with your AZ name) and where everyone is from. It tells me how popular pool is all over the country. The majority of the orders are from back East, places like Mass., New York, the Carolinas, Ohio, Georgia, Delaware and Florida. It's very cool to me to see so many pool players everywhere. I swear if I could, I would hand deliver every one of them. Wouldn't that be cool? I could write another book about that trip.

When Ming wakes up (she's zonked) we go back to work.
