With 6 reds I guess the maximum break is 75 not 69.
Ok there is $100.00 plus my $50.00 on Mary let keep it coming!!! I Know we can string some more money to make this happen. Oh yeah listen MEN don't get dragged into this girl stuff about who is the pretty one...come on leave that stuff for the women it been around as long as there have been women on earth. Lets just get these two together so we can see some pool on an average Joe level. Come Mary step up, our money is on you and as a side note to Mary & OMGWTF 10 years from now it won't even mater so lets get it on!

Mary said that she has backers so I'm going to assume she doesn't need you guys to ante up the money for her. Somehow I think coming up with the money will be much easier than getting her to agree to play the match.
I can only guess that she mistakenly thought that the people on this forum were more anonymous to each other than they actually are. It was only after she posted how much prettier and better she was than most of the women players in her area and how great her snooker game is and was called on it, that she realized this isn't some anonymous internet forum. By then it was too late, she had already shown her true colors which (IMO) is that she is better at playing (some) men like fiddles and being coy than she is at playing pool.
I would love to see the match but I highly doubt Mary will get in the box.
Yeah that seems about right, but its not just about internet anonymity. If you read the post from the women that actually met Mary at the pool tournament, they were and are completely unhappy with the manner in which Mary treated them. Those of you who write this unhappiness off to "womens' jealousy" are maybe having a little trouble seeing past your own biases.
I truly don't think Mary has the backers to step into the arena with OMGWTF, backing some cute girl in some cheap sets or whatever is far different from ponying up the 2K of more it would take to get OMGWTF to slip those heels on and screw that cue together.
It might take an AZ "Mary Fund" to make this match happen. I think I have seen about $150 promised in this thread, that leaves us about $1850 short. I'd throw something in the pot, but I'd be going the other way and I'm sure OMGWTF will be looking to dance on her own dime.

People with true talent don't have to jam it down people's throats. If Mary really could play, she wouldn't have to try so hard to convince everyone. The website is pathetic, she says that she is using it to promote her art...all I can say is she better hurry up and improve her pool game because she is not going to be making a living off of the "art". She is fooling herself with false confidence, from what I have read, she only plays in small-time local tournaments....the guy that told her she would never amount to anything but a bar room player was right. The only way she will ever have a chance of going pro is to join a regional tour, I am sure it will be a humbling experience for her!

I highly doubt TAR would ever come out to cover our little shindig because the costs involved would be too high. Since TAR cannot come to us, I propose we go to TAR.
I propose (since you seem to have no opinion on this matter) we play three sets (8-ball, 9-ball, and 10-ball) at the Derby City Classic for a minimum of $1,000 per set. These sets will, of course, be played on a 9ft Diamond table (your best friend and mine as well).
I think it is well-known by now that I prefer the barbox, but, as it says on your site, that you have already "mastered the little bar tables", I would not dream of insulting you by asking you to play on a messy and non cool 7ft, Mary "David Matlock" Avina.
The benefits of playing at the Derby City Classic, I believe, are as follows:
- You have ample time to get your backers together.
Note that you have (at the time of this writing) 11 people who think you will win. Ask them to chip in $300 or so apiece and you got action. In addition, I am highly unpopular in the Southern California area. I guarantee you, if you do a little trick-or-treating and knocking on doors, you will find backers.
- You have time to practice.
DCC is not until January of 2010.
- You, will, like, totally get to meet Chris Bartram!
Omg omg omg!! He's, like, SOOOO awesome! He, like, totally gives the Jonas Brothers the 7 and he's waaaay hotter than Edward Cullen.
- You will get a lot of male attention at DCC.
Seriously, you will enjoy the guy-to-gal ratio.
- Indiana is lovely at that time of year.
