Florian 'Venom' Kohler strikes again with his newest montage; this time on his new 9' table.

Florian silenced the skeptics a few months ago when he finally competed in a Televised event. Many people doubted that he could compete, but at this event he took 1st place, defeating the legend Semih Sayginer in the finals.

Anyway, on to 52. Let the jaws drop:

Also, for those of you have yet to see it, #51 from a few weeks ago:

Florian "Venom" Kohler

That was pretty cool Nathan. Will Venom be at the SBE this year?

I have some inside information that Florian (Venom) will be at the Super Billiards Expo this year, He will be stationed at the Runout Media Booth that will be attached to the Mezz USA booth. The booth will feature a pool table and Florian will be doing live exhibitions. :p

Not Human

My wife just watched this video and she said - "he's not human".

Seriously, he is taking the art to a completely unreal level. The timing shots where he has to hit a moving ball are nuts. The one where he runs the cueball in a circle and jumps two glasses of water????? How many of you want to try that on your new table?

If he doesn't get an invite to Trick Shot Magic then there is something wrong.

All those other guys better limber up if he does because I don't see Mike Massey pulling off some of these shots where Florian has to move fast and get contorted.

I find this story to be so amazing - he puts up all this free content on YouTube and we get see the progression from amateur enthusiast to paid professional.

That's the power of the internet coupled with talent and perseverance.

That pretty much sizes things up for me.

I was privileged to have been part of the Bigtruck Show at the first ever live streaming of Tom Rossman's Artistic Pool Event where Venom participated. What a fine young man he is ... what a career he has ahead of himself ... what thrills we'll be getting from this Master!!!

Thanks Nathan -- keep it up man!

These responses are incredible. I assure you, Florian appreciates your kind words very much. He's such a nice guy too...loves the game so much that hes willing to do anything for it. He puts these videos up on youtube for free, supports sponsors as best as he can without pay, and even covers his own expenses for most of his equipment (I'd hate to know how much he spends on cloth per year lol).

One of my goals at Super Billiard Expo is to get him some proper sponsors...ones that are willing to give him a few bucks. It's a shame to see such a talented kid who is pushing the industry with his innovations, and yet it actually costs him money out of his own pocket to do so.

(the only money he makes off pool is from the royalties of my DVD sales)

Speaking of which, he'll be at Super Billiard Expo in the Runout Media booth (attached to the Mezz USA booth). We'll have a table set up, and he'll be doing live shows along with Mika (who will be doing challenge matches). I hear Sarah Rousey and Britney Bryant will also be there for a bit to contribute to the show. Should be a lot of fun.

Be sure to stop by and say hello.

Your right years ago when that kid Pavel got his video on the front page of Yahoo a website that boasts 3 billion hits a day...no one in pool came to his side. If anyone that ever picked up a cue deserved a dollar it was Pavel. I mean how many people do you have to get exposure to to get a dollar from the industry...lol He was in a spot light that pool has never seen a spot That costs millions and millions of dollars to get to and not only that he was there for days and pool did nothing to help him lol...lol...lol

I called over a dozen company's myself looking for a sponsor for Pavel.

Allen Hopkins hosts "The Masters" trick shot tournament at the Expo every year...Is Venom playing?

I can't believe I have never heard of him.....he is absolutely the most creative and original trick artist on a pool table, period.

They should have this guy at VF and put on a show.

Awesome thread.

I'm not much of a trick shot fan, but I like what he is doing.

I've watched the trick shot comps on tv a few times recently and I can't stand it. The stuff they are doing, it's moving so far away from pocket billiards that the pool table has become the prop.

:groucho: :groucho: :groucho: :groucho:

4 Groucho's... Never before given such accolades.

This guy is no freakin joke. His shots are amazing and creative to the point where I am speechless. Looking forward to seeing him live at SBE and also for #53 and 54. Great thread, glad to see you getting exposure for this guy.

Venom

Every once in awhile a new player comes along and takes the sport to the next level. This guy went ahead and skipped a couple levels! Awesome stuff!
