I like them ugly.

Thats my cue to the right, best damn plain jane I've ever owned.

So I vote Joey Bautista.

plain janes

Bob Frey, Chuck Starkey, and Barringer and thats stretching the plain part of it.

tell you what we'll for sure see some nice plain janes come out of that batch of Brazilian Rosewood some of you guys got off me. Wood choice and quality is even more important when building a solid one piece wrapless or wrapped plane jane.

The few Southwests that I hit with were sweet, and I wouldn't doubt all the rep about how good the Sugartrees hit if the hit is half as good as the wood looks then they gotta hit amazing.

I really think everyone that builds one out of this batch will be a hell of a player, sometimes you know when wood is going to have a great hit and this is one of them.

I wish i could find a truck load of wood of old age (wouldn't we all)and quality in many species , I'd never have to build anything more than a plane jane and they would fly out of the shop. A good cuemaker can make a good cue using good wood, but only great wood is going to make a great much less perfect cue.

Dang ... If I did not think I made the best cue ...
what kind of cue maker would I be?

Seriously ... i dont often blow my own horn ...
But I go way out of my way to see that MY customers get the best value for their money.
If someone did not like my cue I would not want them to have it.
I would work my butt off to ... within my limits ... modify my cue to their preference.
The limits are there for a reason.
I dont make cues that are copy's of production cues.
I make WilleeCues.
If you like my hit then great ... if not ... then I will buy it back ... along with a Shiner Bock beer ... so you can find what you do like elsewhere.
No hard feelings.

Willee
