Is the Seminole Finals Match Being Streamed? "Park Your Browser"???

I was sure there was no streaming of the final due to Fox Sports airing it on TV in December. But today I read the AZ article where it says this:

What the heck does this mean? It either implies it's being streamed or it's a makeout session for all our browsers. :confused:

Is it being streamed or not? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

From what I understand Fox has sole rights to todays matchs. I hope Iam wrong and we get to watch it live.

A friend of mine 'fat Albert' is calling Johnny Archer, who's still there. Maybe Johnny can point us to the answer.

I'm heading to the pool hall and will bring my laptop.
 
I hate to burst any bubbles here but most of us will never get to see this match. It will be shown on regional Fox Sports in FLA not National I have been told. I will not get to see in in AZ I have also been told andthere is no streaming per what Bigtruck said yesterday. I really hope that I am wrong but I got this info from a reliable source. It totally sucks.

Mark I have a feeling we will get to see the match but it might be a ways down the road. Someone will leak it to one of you tube type sites and presto we got it:wink:. It might turn into a classic, as far as I am concerned the DAZ VS Earl and Earl vs Putnam match are already classics.

I'm tempted to give you red rep for this! ;)

What's confusing is the front page on AZ, the first picto-story, which touts the Earl/Shawn match. Below it is a link for "live stream." Why have that if it's not being streamed? Why have an article telling us to park our browsers? That's dirty pool if it's not streaming!

Yeah, I listened to Big Truck yesterday and heard what you did Mark.

THIS is what's wrong with pool! ;) J/K!
 
Finals

The finals will air NATIONWIDE on fox sports the second weekend of December.

There will NOT be a live stream of the finals.

Fox is filming this in HD. Check your local listings and set your DVR's!!

I'll be there in person and will post updates for anyone that is interested.

VERY interested! Thanks for the info (and the updates in advance), obviously everyone is confused by the AZ article and dying to see this match.

I'm personally SO disappointed that I had to work yesterday and missed everything. Will Earl's matches be available in an archive or on DVD in the near future?

I am truly sorry having missed Earl's best tournament in quite a while.
Shawn Putnam's a good guy and I like his game but I have to pull for Earrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrl.
 
See, this would be THE perfect match for Fox to take a flyer on and broadcast live. What with Earl in the mix they would probably get record numbers (of knowledgeable pool players anyway) just to see if he acts out. :wink:

I think it would be good for the game if he takes it down, but I do wish both men the best of luck.
 
What's sad is.......

the viewers who tune in today are virtually the same ones who would tune in to the Fox Sports program in December. And maybe picking up a small percentage on the nationwide broadcast of folks who don't know about the live stream.........I know I would watch it again because we, as poolplayers are just that desperate to watch pool on tv......:angry::eek:

ooohhhh maaaaan, I live in Kuwait and will never see this match :( sucks, Earl is my favorate player
 
Reading this thread and others about the upcoming finals match, it begs the question how many sales this would generate on a PPV setting.

It seems there is quite a bit of interest in this particular match. :grin-square:

you should feel privileged to have been able to see any of it without driving to Florida to see it live.
If it were not for Big truck doing what he does we would miss alot of great pool.

Thanks truck and the Seminole tribe for streaming the event for FREE, FREE, FREE

Some people will never get it and always want more.
