Sorry for your loss and I have heard many good things about him. People would always rave when I lived in NY about his wraps and also butterfly cues, I owned a cue with one of his wraps and it was flawless.

Man i'm so sorry to hear that , a great cuemaker is gone blessing out to his family.....

Died?

I'm in shock. I was just at Castle Billiards at a king of the hill tournament a few months ago and had the opportunity to meet Paul. He played in the tournament and did well. He looked in good health - wow. Can't believe it. His family is in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. I had the opportunity to visit him at his basement shop and to own a number of his cues over the years. It was always a pleasure to spend time with him and he will be missed.

I am in total shock at this tragic news.. Joe, as you know I have ordered several cues from Paul over the years.

Not only a world class cuemaker (the very best butterfly cues ever made), but such a wonderful, softspoken gentleman. One that was always enjoyed by all who knew him.

I am just totally stunned.

I know you were very close to him, and were a great friend. I will have Paul and all his loved ones in my thoughts and prayers.

Sorry to hear that Joe, my condolences.

He made some great cues and I know you had a lot of respect for him. I've enjoyed the photos and strories you did covering his shop and cues over the years.

I am sorry for your lost. I had talk to Paul at SBE "great guy and super nice". My condolences to his family.

The pool world has just been narrowed by the taking of, from what I knew of him, a great and talented man.

Just a few weeks ago, someone asked me for his contact info so they could have a butterfly of their own made.

This has brought me out of posting retirement and caused me to bring out an old thread I posted to honor the person that built my first custom cue.

Thank you Will for giving me the referral to Paul and thanks to Paul for building me a fabulous cue. I am honored to own it.
