How did you know?! I thought I hid birthday info on the AzBilliards calendar, but what a pleasant way to wake up today. Hard to believe it's my birthday again. It seems like it just happened. After 50, these birthdays start moving fast, like fence posts on a highway.

I have to work later today, so it's kind of like any other day for me, I guess.
Before I can work this morning, Keith and I have to head out to the grocery store before the crowd gets there. I let my food supplies go low because we had a mouse in the house . We finally succeeded in getting rid of him.
It was truly like a nightmare that gets worse and worse with this mouse. I tried everything possible, spending several hundred dollar with Havahart traps, things you plug in the wall that make noise mice don't like, but the only thing that worked, sad to say, was poison pellets. I didn't want to poison the mouse, but I didn't want to live with him either. And I especiallly didn't want him to invite his family. I haven't seen or heard him, so I hope he's gone. It's been about a week. That would be the *best* birthday present yet!
Well, thank you, indeed. I do enjoy my posting experience on occasion. I am learning that life is too short to sweat the small stuff, as they say!

I'm kind of pleased that I've made it to 57 and still kicking.I was pleasantly surprised by Keith and my daughter this year. They both bought me a brand-new 42-inch LG LED/LCD TV for my guest room. I crash on the sofa sometimes when I'm working late at night because I don't want to wake up Keith. They thought that if I had a TV in the guest room that I'd go in there instead of the sofa. It was a really nice surprise.
Then my brother sent me a $250 gift card for QVC. Man, oh, man, he knows me like a book. I love shopping at QVC. :embarrassed2:
All in all, I scored big this birthday!
Thank you for the birthday wishes. So far, Keith has been treating me like a queen all week, doing chores around the house. I know how to lay it down, "Keith, it's my birthday week, dag nab it. I don't want to do the dishes." :thumbup:
He's actually the most kindest, gentle, loving man I have never known.
