JoeyA over came spots as large as 13/5 to win the big event! I can't tell you all how it happened either! I guess he got lucky! I do not want to knock his action! I think the players thought he should have been commentating instead of playing in the tourny!!! You did not get this info from the Lock either! Good ol Buffalo's Billiards, The Worlds Pool Hall! Home of the action!

With the title to your thread i was expecting to read where ole Joey borrowed money from everybody in the poolroom....Thought he had passed Cliff pool 101...lol

I had the same reaction when I read the thread title. I was expecting to read where Joey borrowed some cash from everybody and makes a clean getaway.

Minorwood started this bite thing and I just used his words to describe my thread! I did not mean JoeyA had borrowed any more money from anyone! Opps I mean he had not borrowed any money from anyone!!! He, he, he, I'll get it right!

I figured you knew what I meant by Joey is the king of the bite. At Caspers last year he successfully borrowed 20 dollars from none other than Cliff Joyner. LOL.:grin:

I remember that event very well. But I used that word because it sounds so good! Minorwood, I am not trying to knock JoeyA's action. Just telling the truth is all I am doing. He won the tourny with all of the good players in it too! Not the Lock of course, as I was at work!

Minorwood search Robleyf7 and look at that thread about the BCS tourny going on this weekend! Thanks my friend. Robley is from Louisiana!

This is like homework. Every player needs a homebase to recharge the batteries, be around friends and sharpen up their skills.

Not surprised about anything you win Joey. You work very hard at the game and you work at the right things.

Joey, I will play you on TAR. It can be a preliminary match to something much bigger with much better players (than me anyway). I will play you EVEN! Race to Four One Pocket for 500 and a Race to Four Banks for 500. That way no one will get hurt and you've got a shot at winning a dime from this old skin flint. You are a big favorite at One Hole and I'm a small favorite at Banks. On paper you have the best of it, but I want a go at you. You have this big rep and everyone thinks I'm a bum. I don't really feel like playing in tourneys, I'd rather play a money game. Meet you in Vegas in May! The world (of AZ) wants this match. The question is do you want the Gingerbread Man? I'm willing to donate to your trust fund if you can beat this old fart. :D

I think y'all do need at least a $500 tie breaker if you are even after the two sets, no sense working that hard to break even!

Love it! I like the idea of TAR having an undercard matchup before the big boys play. Not that you guys aren't big....wait....I mean, not that you guys aren't good....yeah that's it.

For a tie breaker, I like one rack of rotation.

Thank you, Double Hemlock for coming to my rescue! Somebody told JoeyA about this thread and he came down on the Lock pretty hard. Now wait until he sees what you have posted!!!
