Does he keep his cue in that briefcase?![]()
No.
But if he is playing a match and I am at the table and he goes for the briefcase, I would request a tournament director to watch the rest of the match.

I have actually seen inside the briefcase a couple of times and it is a terrible sight to behold. Enough to make mortal man quake.

So how'd he do?

3 and out: Frank Sparkman 11-9, Oscar Dominguez 4-11, Roger Bellina 9-11
Mighty fine 3 and out at the US OPEN.

Yep. Nice playin', playa!Absolutely, congrats to Bob for a nice showing.
Thanks for the comments. I haven't been on-line much.
I played a lot better than my first try a couple of years ago -- think APA 4.
I lead Oscar briefly at 3-2. In my final match I made some good shots but also did two or three really bad shots which was the difference.
In my first match I did the "sideways masse" that has been discussed recently, made the ball and got nearly straight on the next ball at the other end of the table. A little too straight. I think it was the first time I've ever played it in a tournament. Preparation is important.

Ditto! Way to represent, dude!Hi Bob!
Congrats for the better play, and -- all things considered -- for a sporty showing against Oscar!
Here's a demo of the type of shot Bob mentioned:You might, at some point after you get settled, share the link to that shot demontrated, so folks here know what you're referring to.
(Or, Dr. Dave -- if you're reading this -- if you have that shot on video, a link would be appreciated.)
