A Sincere Apology to AZB Members.

I recently posted a thread in which I described how I got the better of a guy in a pool game by using a questionable maneuver. (Bar Rules=Angry Cowboy)
I got a harsh response by many members that i did not expect. My intent was not to embarrass the guy but to teach him a lesson about how his own rules being used against him.

The way I handled it was wrong but I truly meant no harm.

For the record I go out of my way to teach people how to play and become better. I coach a few low level APA guys for no charge. I've never turned away someone with a desire to learn.
When I play a lower level player I take low percentage shots to help keep it close and encourage them as much as possible.
I feel that I have been a good ambassador for our sport. I had a slip of judgement.
 
I slipped in a puddle of judgement once. Ok, more than once. Don't sweat it. Nobody's perfect.
 
You don't apologize on line. Who cares about these $%^#$ing ass whiners who like be a little beiouch. No one cares...

FYI, I liked your original post. I thought you were a bad ass to pull a pimp move like that.

If you feel bad about it then its good you are man enough to own up to it.
A little humble ness goes along ways.

Actually, when I read that thread and heard what you "pulled" on that cowboy, I chuckled out loud. I thought it was a brilliant way to get your point across about how stupid some bar rules can be.

FTR, most of the time I've played bar rules and a scratch results in a player shooting from behind-the-line with his only ball left also being in the kitchen, that ball is placed on the spot.

Those who learn from their mistakes are to be commended for it. Good post.
 
I still find it hard to believe that the cowboy was willing to shoot the kick shot while nipple hooked.
 
If a person makes an error, its always a good sign that he can offer an apology.

However, you didn't say anything wrong in that thread you started. Some bone head wannabe Clone Boy pulled a move on you and didn't like getting the same back.

Thats what happens when you let your guard down in a bar. The only thing you did wrong was try and appease the banger and have him a game just to shut his pie hole so he would leave you to whatever you were doing before he walked in.
Bone Head probably doesn't know which foot to put in a stirrup either.

You're entitled to your opinion as a member and you certainly don't have to apologize to anyone for that.

I suppose idiot boy was wearing a Texas Tombstone as well?

You know what they say about wearing a Texas Tombstone. Everything under it is dead.

Pro rules can be and are equally as stupid, but the most stupid rules must be in the amateur leagues.


I am so glad you feel other's are stupid.

Gee, I must have "missed" the word APOLOGY in the title before I opened this thread. I really wanted to read his "A sincere to AZB Members" comments. Gosh, I guess I wouldn't have even opened it if I knew there was going to be an apology involved. ;)

Maniac (would bet all his Vcash that he's in the majority of AZB members that believes bar rules for the game of pool are as stupid as they get)
