OMGWTF Disses Mike Dechaine, in style

I read her blog on MD and had a good laugh. I can understand being critical of him, but I can also put myself in his shoes and see how one of those moments can happen.....at least when I was younger (only 37 now).

Perhaps he will get better over time, or hopefully he doesn't end up like Earl and get progressively worse as far as manners are concerned. Concentrating on winning instead of why you are losing is the difference between the greatest and one of the greatest.

An example is to think of Earl and Efren in the Hong Kong Challenge. Most ppl would've tapped out after Earl hit 100 being that far behind. Efren didn't and Earl crumbled because of it. By far the greatest comeback I have ever seen....especially considering how Earl was just decimating racks up till then

This thread has to rank in the top ten best of all time! It has just about everything that makes AZ what it is. There have been bannings, arguing, shit stirring, nice comments, just plain mean comments and even a sprinkling of worth while info tossed in for good measure. What a cazy group of pool people, this is reality AZ style! Truly an epic thread!!:thumbup:

Is it any different. MD dissed her in the audience. She wasn't going to spoil the show but she did heckle him afterward in her blog.

Other than pulling off temper tantrums when playing, if you met Mike in person, he is probably a very nice guy 99% of the time.

While I was reading Melinda's Blog, I wasn't laughing at Mike as much as
laughing at the way she words her thoughts and her warped sense of humor.

It could have been anyone, including a fictitious pool character and it still would have been funnier than all heck.

Mike is a good guy for taking it on the chin like he did.

Dag, look how this thread blew up.

There's gotta be some kind of reality check when readers take an 'attack' ten times more seriously than the 'victim',
and mild satire is likened to regularly beating up a crippled child.

Mike's gonna be ok, I'm sure any butthurt he felt lasted about five minutes.
If he starts talking about cutting himself on Myspace then I'll be the first to alert the authorities about OMGWTF's blog.

That's an average of close 10,000 hits per day. I wonder how many of those hits are unique users instead of the same user reading the thread 10, 20, 30 times a day. ;)

That actually would be an interesting stat to gather for threads. Not sure if it's possible to do in this forum's software. :p

OMGWTF, can you please write a new blog, so we can have some new content or a different subject matter to discuss? We've worn this one out, I'm afriad. :embarrassed2:

WTF is all the hullaballoo about? Melinda is a snarky, witty, courageous, honest, hard working, generous, lovely pain in the ass.

Mike is a world class pool player that is a young, goofy, competitive, temperamental good guy that wouldn't harm a fly. And world class women are attracted to him. Not bimbos.

JCIN is a mans man, and a massive, sarcastic, likeable passionate SOB with undeniable integrity that doesn't like being pet.


Life is too damn fragile and short to take sh!t to the extreme, as some have here. To them I say, go get laid people and take a load off! There's bigger fish to fry!

Ship it!

I, too, have heard of this "laid" and would be interested in getting some. I'm hoping it is available from Kamui, as I understand they have the best of everything.

For just the price of a plain ticket to Hawaii, you can get "laid" as often as you wish. All you have to do is step off the plane, and walk by those pretty girls with flowers in their hair, and let them lay you.

By the time you get to the end of the line, you will have had more "lays" put on ya than the amount of bling around Mr T.'s neck.
