I'm friendly with many of the players. There isn't a better individual in pool than Oscar Dominquez and I'm happy to call him my friend. I have supported him and even put him in a national tournament once - just one example.

But I am also a realist and take everything for what it is worth.

Yes - nice studio

No one has seen the production yet so we can't comment on that.

I watched 45 minutes of the game of a previous match, I'd give it a C-. in the game of Bonus Ball itself.

Team Format - best decision they made. Nothing bigger for fans than the Mosconi Cup.

Being on a local CBS affiliate - meh. It just leads me to believe when Lenny posts on Facebook that 'CBS is here' trying to sway people and not being clear that it was LOCAL CBS, what else are we going to be attempted to be sold on. Who is going to be in those seats tonight? Real fans? Actors? What numbers are they going to post up on the PPV when that happens? I have seen what InsidePool does to drastically inflate their numbers when they have a stream. I have seen what Charlie Williams portrays as a 'Professional Women's Pool Player'. I could go on til my fingers hurt from typing.

Sorry but BB has a lot to overcome to win me over. Yes, maybe not by their own doing but it is their choice to invest in a sport that has a lot of negativity in it itself and they should have realized that going in. If they didn't, they will surely fail.

Don't forget we are from the Show Me State. Lets give it a look tonight and talk about it tomorrow. Gary

I been thinking about it and NASCAR is the only off-strip attraction thats been successful, i suppose NHRA has as well, but its tough to over come casino's, they get a hold on people and forget about it.

I enjoy hearing top players like CJ and Gary being positive about Bonus Ball, I am just going to enjoy watching these guys matchup. Hopefully every week , good luck BB oh yeah its on my must see list on my next trip to Vegas, hope to see everyone in Tunica. Anyone bringing their clubs? I gotta set of 04 Big Berthas I'm looking to unload!!! I only play cheap at either game!!!

There are no new ideas. Hell, Max Eberle had a Go Pro on his head a year prior. The stuff "we" (we being the pool fans/industry/etc) are now doing with production has been done for decades in professional productions. I wouldn't go around claiming you (or anyone) did anything first. Do you think if TAR gets an on-screen writing tool that Accu-Stats will say we did that first? Do you think that when Accu-Stats did their writing tool, the professional TV industry said "we've been doing that for 50 years"?

Like I said, no new ideas. Just different ways to apply them.

It's funny to see how create people can be to point out flaws, but have no clue in how to make things positive or create constructive momentum. It's a "lost art" in pocket billiards and so prevelant in other sports, I wonder why this is?

I take that back, Ray, "BIG TRUCK" did one at the Texas Open last year that I participated in. We really need to do charity events on a regular basis, maybe pick a good cause and we can ALL participate in our local areas.

I'll handle Dallas / Ft Worth......I can do FREE seminars in any pool room that contacts me and we''ll donate the proceeds to a charity. I will do this every week if necessary for my contribution. This could be HUGE if 20 of us were doing it nation wide.

I might be the first person to have put together a steroscopic (3D) Slow Motion video of pool, but this and many (maybe most) of my ideas were inspired by others.

There were two major influences that drove me to buy a slow motion camera (and a boatload of accessories): the super slow motion shots in The Color of Money, and Dr. Dave's pool videos. I hope some of my work makes them proud, and I hope some of my future work makes you proud.

U r right CJ..Jeremy says the same thing.Said that if they are a Houston team they need to be out in Houston donating time at children's hospitals and things of that nature.Not onlyare they good ways to act and carry your life but pool is.one of the few games fans can interact with top level players on a daily basis..It should be utilized..

Good observation there, Watchez. In fact, Tony has a very close-knit family, which may be why he's such a genuinely nice, polite, and well-rounded young man. Tony is not only a good son, but he also adores his son, who must be a teenager by now. Tony is a good father. Had a good role model, I guess.
