Scooter Goodman - 2014 DCC

It never ceases to amaze me, the subject matter that can turn into verbal warfare here on the AZB forum..There may be thousands of other member's, but it is usually just a few dozen or so, hard core adversaries, who like to open old wounds at the first opportunity to disagree !

I have immersed myself in, (and enjoy) a running gun battle with two antagonists on this forum myself, but it always remains "pool related" !..You don't see me mentioning John Barton sexually abusing live exotic animal's, and then skinning them, to use in his casemaking business DO YOU ?..Just as you don't see me accusing CJ, of wearing Mary Avina's pantie's and bra around the house, do you ?...Of course you don't !!!

Likewise, they have never accused me of being a pedophile ! (that I know of).. So why do so many care whether or not someone is a casual thief, a hardened drug running criminal, a or maybe a convicted murderer ?..This is NO way to run a pool forum. and the mod's are derelect, if they don't nip these type threads 'in the bud' ! (as they have a few of John B. and CJ's childish rants)

Am I the only regular on this forum who tries to keep a sensible, friendly, non-confrontational debate going ?..It certainly appears that way..C'mon mod's..Do your job..Replacements can be very hard to find ! :embarrassed2:

If you took all the "thieves" out of the derby, you would end up with a 25 player field and a bunch of guys entering the straight pool challenge.

As mentioned, I'm sure some of the people that are ready to hang scooter are the same ones in the front row of the action room hanging on his every word.

while I would not give scooter my ATM pin, I very much enjoy what he and others like him bring to the derby.

I see what you're saying, and there are some things that just aren't relevant to a pool forum.
If you're gonna gamble with someone, it really doesn't really matter if they once got a DUI or something.
As long as their money's good.

You can get into some kinds of legal trouble and still be basically an honest person.

But when we're talking about theft, that IS relevant, because you don't want to bet on pool
with someone who is a thief. If they were willing to steal before, they probably will do it again.
They will probably not think twice about dumping or conning you.
 
who cares about what scooter did,.,or does in his own personal life,.,this is like high school on here,.,.drama,.,over what?...just to call someone a bad person?.,.,im not stickin up for him cuz yes hes done a lot of shady stuff but if you know this just separate yourself from him and people he plays with,.,you don't have to get into action with him or even talk to him,.,hell you don't even have to look at him,.,this is all drama,.,if he stole then he stole,.big deal,.,everyones done dumb stuff either you didn't get caught or it just doesn't get exploited online,.,.,who cares,..,seriously whats the point of bashing people on here for something regardless who it is,.,this is just like a celebrity thing,.,where one gets busted for something and the media talks about it forever,.,but in reality who cares,.,you still watch their movies or listen to their music just like when scooter plays a game or sets up a game for other people you still watch when thers action,.,this is high school all over

The irony in all of this is that if AZB is around in X number of years, you might just see a thread soliciting for donations to help with his burial expenses.

Pool.....a beautiful game played by ugly people.

Glad I didn't hang with you guys Johnny as I had hard enuff time keeping myself clean of
everyone elses goofyness let alone my own.

Years ago, I was asked to Prospect for our local biker club. I said thanks but no thanks.
My friend asked me why I didn't want to wear a patch.

I told him that I can get myself into enuff doo doo on my own without any help.

I don't give a flying fig what Scooter does in his "business". What I do care about is how the pool community puts people like him on a pedestal.

I am posting on this thread that I did not start because it is popularizing the actions of someone the pool world should be ignoring. People like Scooter are NOT good for pool in the long run, his brief bouts of gambling entertainment are about as good for pool as a shot of heroin is good for an addict.

As long as people make Scooter Goodman and his exploits front page news on the AZB forums then it becomes open season for people to post their opinion. Don't like that? Talk to the person who started the thread, not me.
