Big truck

I hope both of these entities -- Erica and Ray -- can find a way to end the public discourse and settle this behind the scenes. It does nobody any good to debate who's right, who's wrong, what happened, what didn't happen, especially when the majority of readers were not present.

May both of them bury the hatchet and move forward with grace. :)

Me and a bunch of others personally seen him walk over to the other side of the room and take her equipment down himself. Not her laptop because supposedly that was broken so she was using a phone. Me and a friend was there watching the Orcullo match and all this went down. Ray is sugar coating all the bullshit and making it sound good but it's bullshit. Erica was streaming the Orcullo match and he was streaming Richie's match. He looked over and thought she was showing the main stream table and she was still broadcasting the other match. Y'all don't have to believe me, Ray or Erica. Go to her facebook page and watch her last video and you will see him come take it down in the middle of the Whalen and Orcullo match. I was standing right there but after you watch it happen on camera, what will your excuses be then??????

I was talking about the laptop. So the short answer is that no, you didn't see it get damaged and can only speculate how it happened. As for the phone, you say you saw Ray move it, but again you didn't see him doing anything that damaged it, so again, it seems that you are just speculating on how it was damaged but trying to state it as fact as if you knew for sure first hand.

I'm not arguing a side, and I am not opposed to speculation, I just think it needs to be clear that it is speculation and not put out in a misleading way as if you know something for a fact if you don't. The way you and some others seem to be stating things it is as if you were an actual witness who saw the damage occur and saw exactly how it occurred and what caused it when that really wasn't the case at all.

If you saw her phone screen was perfectly fine, and then you saw Ray pick up that perfectly fine phone and throw the phone to the ground, and then you saw that the screen was now all cracked or something along those lines then just say so. That is knowing who did it and how. But if it is just "well I saw Ray take her camera and tripod behind the bar and I later heard from Erica that her phone is broken so I can only assume that he must have done something to it that I didn't see" then be clear about that too and about the fact that you are only speculating on how you think the damage occurred and who you think did it and don't say it in a misleading way as if you know for a fact who did it and how if you don't.

Seeing as that video showed exactly how bigtruck said it happened, why are we not to believe she wasn't listening to the owner when he told her to stop like bigtruck said it happened?

Please stop while you can!

You are trying to ask him to use logic and his head might explode. I would hate for that to be on your conscience!

He has a bone to pick and its obvious! He looks foolish and its very clear to all that are following along.

Isnt your argument attempting to establish the fact erica has responsibity for the *allegedly* damaged equipment?

She and ray are both at fault, it sounds like.

Since I look foolish and you have the perfect answer for everything. What makes it ok for him to touch someone else's personal property and move it?

This is pool....not badminton. ...the storm's just a brewin.

Exactly and admitting he did move her property will be why he loses.

Just sue him in small court....the cops are going to say it's a civil matter and there will be no charges.

Hard to believe that you had no idea what the cord was connected to. Its a pool room and gossip about her streaming on a laptop would move quick.

I dont blame you though if the rest of what you said was true.

But what *caused* the accident is not the following too closely...it is the guy in front that hits the brakes to punish the tailgater who is actually at fault.

Unless you live in zippleboro, the laws of your state are comsistent with the above GA-RON-TEEED.

Check out post #103 where I explain it fairly well. The fact is that following too close IS the proximate cause almost every time. The obligation is on you to make sure you left enough distance to be able to stop without hitting them no matter why they slow or stop regardless of the reason out of billions that could up, and if you were doing that you wouldn't have hit him even if he was hoping you would. And even if you can prove that the guy braked solely for the intention of getting you to rear end him (which you can almost never prove), you are almost always still going to be found to be partially at fault as well, usually at least equally at fault, because you failed to meet your legal obligation to follow at a safe distance.

If you were following at a safe distance there is basically nothing the guy in front of you could possibly do that can cause you to have to hit him unless he decided to put it in reverse and back up at you. If you hit him it was because you were following too close, and the proof that it was too close is the fact that you hit him.

I question yojr comlrehension of proximate cause.

By definition, an accident caused by the driver in front jamming on his brakes to punish the tailgater cannot be caused- by legal definition- by tailgating. One has to happen from front, another from behind.

Go try it, tell the cop 'i found he was tailgating me, so i slammed on my brakes'. If you get arrested, point him to post #103.

It is like saying you set fire to your neighbors car because he drove over your rose bush.

It would be considered contributory negligence, but not full fault...

My unsolicited plug...

This is a terrible situation...Literally a "he said • she said" at that.

It is thanks to situations like these that we have decided to do the following event in Las Vegas with the provision that, "no cameras or still photography be allowed in this venue unless otherwise authorized by Gary Onomura (Owner, Good Timez Billiards or Daniel Busch (Owner, POV Pool Media)" I sure do hope Erica and Truck work out their situation, but it seems doubtful. I for one, am not a fan of either of them and I will not go into details. Forum rants and circular arguments are par for the course when the decision is made to post personal and professional billiards drama on AZ Billiards Forums. Well, if there's anything Truck will get from press this bad, is that everyone will know about him and Efica now. I'm sure, that between Scott Frost and Efren Reyes playing in Arizona in July, Truck will be the one who wins... Or, maybe not.

Trying to prove your point will lead you nowhere in the long run. The keyboard commandos will always prevail...and with this, I will proudly leave you with my unsolicited plug for our upcoming Pay Per View event from Las Vegas. I know, huh - not such a classy move but let's face it... it's good timing.

Jumping in the shark tank with both feet eh Daniel. Cuidado, it's a feeding frenzy.

I'm not a player anymore but how do you want to play Shane McMinn or Robb? I might throw them in the box.

Oscar will play Shane the game that Shane has approached him about multiple times but then never comes thru and plays.

here's a question
if erica is streamng for free

how are the players getting paid for having their image used?

You can record anyone, anywhere just because you want to. If I follow you down the street and have my camera recording you I don't owe you a dime. It's called freedom of the press.
