Wow hh, nice stuff! The custom looks great (and unique) and I like how you stuck with the chess board theme.

The Custom is now 19 years old and I'm pretty sure it is a one of a kind.
I bought it in 2010 from a good friend of mine here in Norway.
Jacoby Custom cues helped me out with refinishing, rewrapping and the rest of the matching stuff.

The next thing will be a matching cuecase.

Here's mine. Bought it new back in 1979. It is a Custom #1. I ordered it with the calfskin leather wrap. I was told Paul was the only one who put the leather wraps on and it was guaranteed for life.

Here is a Huebler from a league mate. Was a custom order, he said? I haven't seen these rings in this thread, but I haven't looked much elsewhere.

What do you guys think? Approximate year of manufacture? If not a custom, does anyone know the Huebler model? And while I don't think he's actively looking to sell, any stabs at value will also be interesting.

Any information is appreciated.

I was wondering is there a site somewhere with pics of the different Huebler cue that have been made over the years?

I had a really nice on that I bought back in 90-91 and had to pawn in late 94 i want to say, and would really like to find another like it. It was natural wood with a lot of purple if i remember in the butt..

Sorry for the hijack..but those pics reminded me of the first good cue i owned and lost..

I have a huebler that is purple. I can get a picture in the next few days since I am out of town.
