heartbreaking loss for Shane.

congrats to Ko pin Yi

for me the killer was shane missing that position on the 7 which would have put him up 10-8....

instead it became 9-9...

and that's all I have to say about that.

Brutally painful match to watch. How is it even close with as many rolls that Ko has gotten? Sick.

And of course, it just sounds like we Americans are just complaining.
I'm an Aussie so could care less who actually won, but SVB got very bad rolls and Ko Pin Yi was so lucky I feel like punching him in the face!

9-Ball is deader to me than it was before... a freaking luck break luck fest. Of course cream generally rises to the top, but it's gotta get through several luck based filters.

Ko Pin Yi did not deserve this win. It should go down as one of the luckiest wins in history.

I generally despise lucky players, and the streaming problems add to the frustration tonight. A bitter feeling about what was brewing up as one of the great pool matches to watch.

What seemed to going wrong with shane's play? I heard the commentators saying shane was out of it? I started to watch when it was 9-9

Second you, Ko made a mistake on the 3 on the 5th? game, but Shane didn't run the table, and leave Ko a chance...

It is a very challenging match, and they both play nervously..
However, Ko did got a little lucky and won the title.

Another "crap shoot" 9 ball final. When are the players going to put their feet down and refuse to play this game of luck? Ko got more rolls than are in a bakery. Sorry, I know Ko is a great player but he knows he didn't deserve that win. Johnnyt

Shane had his chances to win, he made a a couple bad choices and missed position a couple of times. Luck is luck, but could have won.

Much as I hate to say it, I'll remember this match mostly for the fact that the stream went down midway through a captivating final.

This needs to be worked out for 2016.

I don't feel like punching Ko in the face but I havbe to agree with just about everything you wrote. I'm an American and I loved the way Shane stood up to the luck factor. He made me proud, just fading the luck the way he did.

Because the world final should happen with no one watching it? Makes sense I guess.

There's like 19 people in the stands, bro.

Yeah but it's about the players at the end of the day, not their fault 19 people were in attendance
