Steve Lipsky said:Well, in the interests of equal time, I'd like to say a few things in support of my friend and fellow player, Jude Rosenstock.
Jude has been a fixture in the NYC pool scene for over a decade. His game has been steadily improving, and he's finally (at all our urging) beginning to venture out into the great expanse of pro tournaments. It is only a matter of time before his game makes the tremendous strides of which we all know he is capable. He is a true student of the game, with a good head on his shoulders, and he has no fear of anyone.
I was there when he beat Mika, with no spot, on the front table of Amsterdam. In the last game of an intense set, he came with a shot - under the immense pressure of possibly beating one of his pool idols - that I don't think Mika himself would have made 3 times in 10.
Jude has given a lot of himself to the game over the years, and I think it'd be wonderful to give him this shot. I know my opinion probably doesn't count for much, lol, as I haven't been very active on this board, but I figured I'd share it anyway.
And last week, he and I were playing straight pool, and he ran 432 balls (no banks or combos). OK, maybe that didn't happen, BUT he's a great guy, a great player, and truly deserving of this honor.
Thanks,
Steve

Is there a mailing address that I can send a check to?
JAM said:LAMas, I'd be interested in that option myself.
The only drawback for AzHousePro would be if a check unexpectedly or by accident bounced, he could be charged a fee.

I could send the monies to somebody else with a PayPal account, like my brother, and get him to send it in for me, though.
It would be easy to purchase a money order from the local Post Office, which is inexpensive I hear.
I'm definitely in and will be sending in 50 bucks, 25 from JAM and 25 from Earthquake!![]()
