Mike

I just transferred some funds to my paypal account, went they process I’ll send it.

Thanks Mike for the sticky thread and handling of the money. Do you know if TheOne, Jimmy M. and Jude still want to go to the Open? I’ve seen were vapoolplayer, Dead-Poked and Black Balled have shown interest to attend but not from the others. Although I haven’t seen all the posts so I may have missed it. But I feel that if they are interested enough to be nominated and /or voted for, some type confirmation would be in order.

As far as Keith’s consideration, I feel he is more than qualified to be on the ballot. He has contributed many stories and shared some pool knowledge over the years. Also, he just may have the best PR person in the business, ….that should account for something. I’m sorry to see his name removed.

I'm still interested. :)

I'm even skipping Reno this Summer in case I do go to the US Open because I don't have enough vacation time for both.

Im interested, I'm in Reno at the moment and then I'm off to hard times. After that I'm considering going to Taiwan to try and qualify with a few Australian friends and then I would play on the way back via the US.

I will let you know how Reno goes! :-|

Cheers

Well, in the interests of equal time :p, I'd like to say a few things in support of my friend and fellow player, Jude Rosenstock.

Jude has been a fixture in the NYC pool scene for over a decade. His game has been steadily improving, and he's finally (at all our urging) beginning to venture out into the great expanse of pro tournaments. It is only a matter of time before his game makes the tremendous strides of which we all know he is capable. He is a true student of the game, with a good head on his shoulders, and he has no fear of anyone.

I was there when he beat Mika, with no spot, on the front table of Amsterdam. In the last game of an intense set, he came with a shot - under the immense pressure of possibly beating one of his pool idols - that I don't think Mika himself would have made 3 times in 10.

Jude has given a lot of himself to the game over the years, and I think it'd be wonderful to give him this shot. I know my opinion probably doesn't count for much, lol, as I haven't been very active on this board, but I figured I'd share it anyway :D .

And last week, he and I were playing straight pool, and he ran 432 balls (no banks or combos). OK, maybe that didn't happen, BUT he's a great guy, a great player, and truly deserving of this honor :D .

Thanks,
Steve

Steve, thank you VERY MUCH for the kind words and thank you again for watching that match! I'm glad I was able to return the favor and watch as you beat Nick Varner at The World Summit, 2003.

I aspire to play as well as you one day. Hopefully, that day will come BEFORE we're both decrepit!

Mike,
Is there a mailing address that I can send a check to?

LAMas, I'd be interested in that option myself.

The only drawback for AzHousePro would be if a check unexpectedly or by accident bounced, he could be charged a fee. PayPal is convenient and easy, but my PayPal account is messed up and I can't get it to work properly.

I could send the monies to somebody else with a PayPal account, like my brother, and get him to send it in for me, though.

It would be easy to purchase a money order from the local Post Office, which is inexpensive I hear.

I'm definitely in and will be sending in 50 bucks, 25 from JAM and 25 from Earthquake! :)

JAM, check your PM's

Yesterday, the funds from my bank account finally processed through paypal. Don’t know why it took 3 days to transfer funds though. Seams like it should only be a one day thing. I sent 50 along with a vote for………
