AzBilliards.com Members Choice 2014

Lou...You MUST know that Thaiger and Ron Swanson are one and the same don't you? As far as I'm concerned Tim/Thaiger/Ron Swanson is an A1DB! But then neither of you two have any love lost for instructors. LOL At least you have the balls to post under your own name...something Tim does not.

Gracias and you're right. My other two...

SJD and The Thaiger.

SJD is a funny, knowledgable HOF guy that speaks his mind and dan't take no crappola from no one. Thaiger was completely and totally politically incorrect and I loved that. Too many guys here just want to be PC and suck up. I never want to be part of that club.

I'll never get the respect I deserve, such is life

After you took a c.unt punt for the team too. Buncha ungrateful dicks.

Bet they are the kind of guys that wouldn't even give you a reach-around if they were fuc...

I will leave it at that.

A vote for frosty the doughman. Can I get a hell yeah?

That's what I'm saying...at least you see it. I mean do I need to remind them I took a ban this year for those ungrateful people. Oh well I did learn quite a bit in 2014 about my "boys" and I don't need em anyway. 2015 should be interesting, if I blow up I'll be sure to come back and say my real thoughts.

Scott, I am going to tell you something that you may or may not believe: I don't track the history of the posters here. I usually take each post on its own merits, until I start noticing a pattern where they are attacking me personally. If they leave me alone, I will, generally speaking, live and let live. So, unless its a Roadie, or a Champ, or couple of other guys, I don't pay attention. Thaiger, Swanson, or someone else has not been a problem for me so they are not on my radar, though I can understand how they might be for someone else.

In "real life" I have had more than one guy come up to me and say, "Wow. I thought you'd have some hard feelings about..." and I genuinely don't recall or don't care. It happened in cyberspace.

It's the internet and not real life :-)

1. Jay Helfert
2. JAM
3. Bob Jewett

Got to give props to At Large, who'd probably have been my #4. At Large makes a valuable contribution to our forum and his posts are often in the "must read" category.

I would like to just question chrippa on his vote for Dean...is that a username or the persons actual name? The vote hasn't been included until I get conformation :-)

2 - Jay Helfert / JAM -- 52
3 - dr_dave -- 43
4 - AtLarge -- 39

Apologies if I messed up anyone's usernames. I will try update before Christmas.

Not long left for those who haven't voted!

I haven't Voted yet. This always a tough one, as I could easily go for 10 votes.

1. Hu
2. PT 109 (Paul)
3. Asia's Dad

Hu has always entertained us with his Road Stories. He is a tinkerer and fixer like myself. I am sure if we ever got together, he would show me a couple of his favorite fishing holes. With all the strange things that he has experienced and done, definitely a, Jack of All Trades. I like that in a person.

PT is the AZ Punster. He keeps me on my toes trying to Out Pun him, which will never happen, but a guy has to try. I have no idea on what Paul's formal education is, but, he definitely has some Pool Hall and Street Smarts. He could be a Survivor if necessary. I also like that in a person.

Asia's Dad. An NPR thing. Ex Biker, we see eye to eye on many of the things happening in the world. I know that it might sound real stupid, but, if there ever was a Zombie Apocalypse, or just all Hell broke loose, I would probably do well to have Dad by my side. Just a goofy way of looking at it.
Not that he is wound too tight, just a Tight Guy and those are the best ones to have as friends.

And everyone else that are members of AZ. Whether you are a prolific poster or just a few opinions here and there, the Forums wouldn't be the same if we didn't have big and small, short and tall, etc.

See, this is what makes this thing so tough. If I had ten votes, you and Sean would also be on the list.

I had to put down three that really stood out for me this year.

Besides, sell me Gator Boat and I will pick you Numbah 1 forever. Brian.

Anyone that owns a gator boat is automatically cool.

I got an autographed picture of Kid Delicious from Brian this year. Been bugging him and in turn, Brian was bugging Danny for some time.

Yeah, I know, I am an ungrateful Bstard. I will do penance for that one for a couple of years.

Guess I need to thank those who thought of me. It's because of my high regard for all of you that this means something to me. Countless posters deserve positive feedback here on the forum, and not just those cited in this thread. It's our collective knowledge and communications that make AZB so special, and I'm no more than a single cog in the wheel.

Humbled but grateful,

Stu
