I don't want to see any of our own get drilled...
I have a laundry list of things that are wrong with this cue..

Da Dick called about this POS last night. Although it's in FLODA i could smell it up here.


What's wrong with it includes, but, isn't limited to:

design and execution of butt sleeve inlays

butt cap

veneer color and width

trim rings

bushka ring

and so on and so forth

Saw it early this morning as well.
The inlays do not look anywhere as clean as Gus would have done.
But enlighten me on that laundry list as I would love to learn more.

Hi Myron,
A few things..
Gus always made a 6 pointer with just 2 veneers, this one has 3 or 4, depending if it is double maple in the middle..
The buttcap is wrong and looks too short.
The inlays, just wrong, nice red dot :0
Has a black with white speckle wrap.. Gus never used..
Gus didn't make a 6 pointer by 1979-80
The list could grow, if more time was spent looking at it..
I emailed the seller already and told him..
He replied OK..

if you know this is bogus, then you should report it. I think you would want someone to do the same for you, no?

I always find it funny when people who are trying to pass something off do no research on how to do it right. Whats even better is the fact that most of them obviously no nothing about this forum or know anyone who does.

Never was aware of some of the things you listed.
Truly appreciate the education.

Did not like the red dot!
Have to spread some around but will be back for some K's to you.

I sent him an e-mail with a link to this post, first thing this morning. Told him he should be reading this thread and possibly reply to it but No reply yet???
