I have no problem with accountability Steve, if it was my fault I would accept it seriously. I am just curious as to why there is no accountability for the failure of pro pool to date.

The players are completely to blame. No one else.
That was easy.
They butchered everything they ever had and still do, led by Charlie and Johnny.
The only recent pro tour of any kind was the old Florida Tour, you may know it as the Seminole Tour and it went under due to re elections by the tribe.

Lenny - you know what is says on mg job description at my work. "Other duties as assigned." You know what I was taught - if you want a promotion you should already be doing the functions of the job you want. Thats how i went from a temp employee to managing 25 people in 3 years.

I actually have had a similar idea for several years doing team based 10 ball. I even had a brief discussion about it with Mark Griffin.
I wanted to try a pilot program with it in San Diego and LA. I didn't and ATM still do not have the means to do so. I suppose I could've put together a business plan and sought out investors, but I decided not to go that route because I didn't really want to risk other people's money.
If bonus ball is a success, there's nothing stopping another one from being successful as well. So I may yet do it. Also, the business plan I had put together may have a better chance at sustainability without relying as much on outside sponsorship, so even if BB ISN'T a success, it may be possible to move forward with it in the future.
Personally, I hope that BB is a success. I like the game and it can be exciting.
I think the trick to getting pool to become successful is the same thing that makes any sport exciting. Get the general public emotionally involved.
Hell, even nascar fans become emotionally involved and are rooting for their own personal favorite.
Without that emotional involvement for the fans, pool will NEVER have success.

If you are one of the 10, I can vouch for the not as pretty part! How bad is your shoulder? You said you aren't going to Tunica because of it, but is it good enough that you may be in Beloit on the 22nd?
You confuse me Jam....you always proclaim your support and love for the professional pool players, and yet you disrespect them with petty name calling. I understand you are not a Bonus Ball supporter, but it is possible to state that without being so disrespectful. I also saw your post about being done with posting on Bonus Ball and yet you continue to do so.

200 APA players yes, but the number in big pool would have another 0 or two.
JB would beat her routinely today, her game has really stepped up.
Jeanette is no dummy, she will ride the APA train as long as people line up for $20 signed photos! I for one don't blame her one bit either. She shouldn't care less about men's pool, BB or any of this foolishness.

And as far as this tread goes, while I am not a supporter of BB they have every right to do as they please with their scheduling.
These PRO players are big boys and girls and I am sure they knew what they were getting into when they signed their contracts.

The disrespect/name calling to the pros on this site make me sick.
Especially when in reality they are playing an incredibly challenging game that requires ALL the most difficult shots in pool.
Course if you don't play pool it would be hard to understand that.
