She looks better here than on the cover. Inside Pool needs to change photographers.

I'm sure Borana and I would be interested in doing a match. We've never played each other in a tournament so it would be fun.
BTW, she's going to be coming Texas to go with me to the next OBCues tour stop in Arlington next weekend.
I am just going to throw my two cents out here, just because. I do not see what the big deal is about Borana being on the cover. I don't know her personally, but some of my friends have met her, and say she is a very nice person. I read the article and thought it was great. I think it's awesome that she has come as far as she has in such a short amount of time. It shows a dedication to the game, and she deserves to be rewarded for that. It just goes to show that if you set a goal, and work hard for it, the odds of achieving said goal are in your favor (obviously!). I actually admire her for having a full time job, and being able to do the whole "pool" thing. I love seeing a pool player that has job!![]()
This article also gives hope to all other "up and coming" pool players - those that never really thought they had a chance to make it "big", so to speak. I think the article was well written, and it gives off a certain vibe saying, "hey, I can do this too!". This is, of course, just my opinion. Take it or leave it - doesn't matter to me.
Peace,
Amanda
Did somebody say big?

I guess you automatically think it's about you huh? LOL! Hope you are having a great day!
Peace,
Amanda
I would like to see you on the cover of a pool mag!
Ray
sorry about the pic quality, i-phone in bad light.
Shawn, your dog called. He wants his hair back and says he's really sorry for eating all your meds.

I think the point people are making is... If I jump from a C player to an A player by next year, will I be on the cover? All signs point to no. Im too ugly! If I win the US Open, will I be on the cover. Hopefully!
Better TAR match up because of previous controversy...
Borana vs Shanelle
To me, it sounded like some folks were giving her a hard time JUST BECAUSE she may not be as great a player as some, and yet, she managed to get on the cover. I have won a lot of tournaments (no US Opens or anything but still......), and I've never been on the cover, and I'm not ugly! LOL! Well, I don't think so anyway. HA! Sure, IP may have used her beauty to sell more magazines, so what? I think the article ALSO covered the determination she has to want to become a better and more known player.
I mean, why shouldn't all the hard work and dedication she's put in, be rewarded? Seriously, there are too many downers in this world already, why add more to it? Let's just all be happy for her that she is advancing in an arena that she loves.
Peace,
Amanda
