When Mad Max is in dead gear nobody has to like it..The guy can shooot..straight out..If he only played pool for a living and had a big backer..Im certain he would take alot more titles...jmho:thumbup:

I spent hours talking with him over the 2 days...Has a ton of knowledge in many things...not just pool...& if you do ask him something that he's not quite sure...just give him a second & he will google it on his phone & have the answer in no time....Great composure on the table...really keeps his his emotions in check even if he's getting a few bad rolls...was a pleasure to watch him shoot...Scotty had a great tourney as well and made some amazing shots.:thumbup:

He's in Texas at the moment but he'll be at Hard Times, in Vegas, and then back to TX. He can't stay in one place for too long.

After two long days most folks were dragging a bit, even the immortal Scotty. No idea how Max did it but he came into the finals like it was the first match after a nice week of rest. Fantastic hair thin cut shots one behind the other, fantastic run outs, plain outstanding play. Scotty didn't give much away but anything less than perfect play wasn't going to hang with Max.
I did doze a bit watching those two sets, no sleep the night before and two nights in a row without sleep were beginning to tell on me but what play I saw was outstanding. I'll watch the entire match on BigTruck's site soon. He has a ton of great matches that he leaves up all the time.

Righto Hu...and the quality of the stream was top notch. I loved the overhead camera view...1st time I've seen that in a live stream.
