Glen,
Absolutely one incredible job!!!!!!! Wish I had a table for you to work on.

$300 for castings and feet:wink:
Pictures say a 1,000 words:grin:
Glen,
A picture may replace a 1000 words, but I think in your case only 4; You are the Best!! Awaiting your arrival.
Tom
Yeah, I just had the castings done and they were about $150. I read on another thread some guys in different parts of the country that paid less.
Great pictures, thanks for posting them. You seem to be an artist at what you do...Dan Fitzsimmons may be right when he told me you were the best!
Dave
Glen , you didn't explain why someone would want Diamond slates on a Gold Crown. beautiful work, that's why your the master.
Glued down my bed cloth, and finished off my pockets the normal way for my work.

Install the facings, sand flush with the cushions and rail, then check again for pocket opening.

You might possibly be the best table mechanic on the planet!, I think that is something to be very proud of sir.
I could be, I don't know, being the best has never interesed me as much as helping to raise the bar of being a table mechanic as I would love to see about 500 mechanics in this country that really know what they're doing....that would be the nuts right there:grin:
I tell people that I had my Diamond set up by the best table mechanic in captivity. What you saw on the GC is what he did to my friends old Gandy Big G. He "Diamondized" it.
You're right, I do set a high bar for anyone following my work, but at the same time, I also by showing what quality work looks like here in the main forum make table owners all over the planet more aware of what kind of work they're NOT getting on their pool tables....and therefore want more from the mechanic that DOES work on their pool table(s) I have a reason for this as everyone will soon find out:wink:To me it seems to brighten up the table considerably and helps one see thin cuts on the darker balls. How do you think it would look on a BLACK/CHROME GCIII?
The pictures showcase a remarkably excellent process and result. Outstanding job!! It aids understanding to witness the efforts of a true craftsman. You set a high bar.
