If you look at the stats, there was only a difference of 3 games out of 135, a ratio of 1 game for every 45 played.
When matches are this close, every little thing matters.
In my opinion, Shane let the rolls get to him. He was frustrated by not getting a shot on the one after the break, not getting a shot on Busty's dry breaks, and Busty was playing good. So there was heat from Bustamante, heat from the rolls, and heat from Shane not being able to string racks or control the table well.
Bustamante was playing well but his nerves showed too. He went airborne on more than a few shots. Shane did dog a few and was slumping in his chair. At one stage he scratched in the side, got angry and bounced the cueball off the table and across the room. Very -un-Shane like! Busty walked over, picked up the ball, and continued like nothing happened.
Bustamante's gambling experience paid off. He controlled himself very well and he is all business. Ultimately, Shane's going to have to learn how to shake off frustrations because that small difference cost him a few games - and when the spread is one game in each 45 played, you can't afford to give them away.
