Ed Wheat...lets get it on...

in my time trolling this forum i have seen the better part of a dozen eddie wheat threads started by mr. wheat that have ended up nothing but a bash this cuemaker thread.
And in this entire time i have only seen one in which you have a pic of a completed cue. Granted they look nice, but still over all this time you spend wasting to stir up a hornets nest here on az you have less than a half dozen cues to show for it.
You have stated a few times that this is what you intend to happen when you start these because they give you free advertising. I can tell you this, if you are a "good" craftsman, whether it be a cue builder, cabinet maker, trim carpenter, you will NEVER have to advertise. And by advertising all you do is cause people to question why you are doing it in the first place. Your finished work speaks louder than a thousand "I'm eddie wheat and i'll build a cue faster and better and more customized than any other cue maker out there and for 1/4 the price you would normally pay."

Until you can successfully finish Mr. Edwards cue and make that right i honestly think you should stay off the computer and go into your shop and start making cues, instead of talking about how great a maker you are.

And on a final note, this crap that every single cue is custom measured and blah blah blah sounds like a bullshit way of saying you don't have a proper wood supply or money to build cues and let the market decide what they are worth. That's how it should be done. As an example I'll use RFisher's cues. No offence to any other makers on this forum as i respect and appreciate all of your work, i am just using him as an example. When i see him put a cue up in the for sale forum, it is gone within hours. No advertising, no bashing other cue makers, no talking himself up. Just puts the pictures up and what he wants for it. Maybe you should follow suit.

Just my 2 cents as i am getting pretty sick of these threads. Mr. Wheat, go build some cues and save the drama for the soaps.

5 Years Timespand Could Change Your Armspand... imo

I wish I could help, I really do, but I'm a little short at the moment. Maybe an AZB collection or a Raffle or sumpin. Good luck, five years is a long time..... imo

I need a huge favor this is so huge that it decides whether I live or die"literally" !

I recently filed a motion to petiton the courts to give me an extension or other options on my cost of supervision for my probation that I'm on for driving on a suspended license.... becasue I terminate probation next month..

The reason for this motion was becasue the refininace I was doing on our adjustable rate mortgage fell through and I was relying on it to pay off probation dept. the sum of 2491.58...

Which of course the new judge I went before had zero interest in assisting me in modifying my costs nor would he extend my probation or allow me to trade it off for community service hours...

As a matter of fact he chastized me for waiting to the last month to address this issue and when I tried to explain the refinance aspect of it he didn't want to hear it and gave me till next fri the 22nd to come up with the entire amount of money or I will violate my probation and when I come back in front of him he assured me that I will do 5 YEARS IN PRISON for not having the money and paying off the probation costs due to my existing point score !

I think this is very unfair but they can do whatever they want !

Now ,this puts a wee bit of pressure on me becasue as most of you know , I can't afford to lose everything I own and due to the fact my grandma is 94 yrs old that I take care of..If I goto prison we will lose the house I will lose all my equipment and business as well as personal assets and of course grandma will probably die due to the emoptional trauma and my life would be over as well !!!

I am asking you for a collateral loan which I will put up my brand new 15000.
00 Align-Rite CNC computerized milling machine to secure this loan and in return you will DOUBLE YOUR MONEY !!!

This is a very serious favor and business opportunity and those who know me personally can attest that when it comes to money I don't joke or play games but this is about much more than just money becasue I refuse to goto prison becasue of court costs and I will cash in my chips and try my luck in the next life it comes to that !

I hope someone out there who knows me can help ! I feel a little embarrased to advertise this on myspace but I don't know what else to do... my back is against the wall and I'm running out of time !

Please give me a call anytme to discuss details if you in the position and are willing to help !
Thanks for your time !

Makes you wonder when he bought the $15k machine, for his Grandmother's sake I hope he finds the cash.

Hey EW, I'll give you $2500 for the Alignrite and an option to buy it back for whatever costs I incur picking it up plus the $2500. PM me and we can work it out.

I need two things:
An EW cue and a test group.

(I had this idea long ago with a different maker in mind, but I was quite new to the forum)

Ed,...build a player.Hit the average specs ect. Then ship it out to the real players on this forum.

10 players max with the tenth returning the cue to you.

Each to cover the shipping to the next man until it gets home...back to you for sale again.

No harm or foul and you will get the some players looking ....OR never looking again.

I'd like to make the list, but I don't have too....

I suspect EW will be game..I just need nine others to pay shipping cost to move it on.And I need Ed to have some faith in his work as well as the members here to return the cue.

I love the idea.

The first prudent step in any proposed personal loan against a guarantee in the form of transfer of ownership of a vehicle or a piece of equipment etc is of course to definitively establish if the person offering it as collateral actually owns the item in question at the time of the proposed loan being agreed.

If by any chance it is already owned in full or in part by some other person, partnership, company, bank or finance house etc, or if perhaps it is the subject of an uncompleted hire purchase agreement made directly with the original supplier, any of these things might render a transfer of ownership null and void and thereby effectively render the guarantee worthless.

What I don't get is if He doesn't pay a 2500 fine he has to go to jail for 5 years. That seems a little heavy handed. Then again I am never in trouble with the law so maybe I don't know.

What scares me is if the guy deserves to do five years and they will let him not serve time for 2500. The whole thing doesn't make sense. JMO

Actually it isn't a fine. It looks like as a term of supervised probation they made him pay the cost of supervising him. You normally get a pretty stout suspended sentence along with probation. That is the five years that Eddie would serve if he violates the terms of his probation. The other thing is that they may be able to tack on a little extra for violating probation if they want to. A friend was on parole which is similar and with three days left on his parole period he asked to leave the state. He was told no and that the rest of his full sentence was waiting on him if he violated parole!

His sentence was reduced to 3 years Probation and a $2500 fine. He had to keep his nose clean while on probation AND pay the fine in lieu of going to jail. His probation is up in one month and he hasn't paid any of his fine balance of $2400+.

The judge has run out of patience and wants the fine paid in full by the end of his probation (which was part of the probation deal to start with) or he faces 5 YEARS in jail for failure to complete his initial agreement.

Doug
(I would come up with the money even if I had to rob a bank or stiff Jay Helfert to do it) :)

It's only two of his grandma SS checks. If he had 3 years to pay 2400 and didnt at the risk of going to jail for 5 more years and he bought a cnc machine instead. What an idiot. Sorry.

Why am I NOT surprised my post in MySpace for my friends ONLY to view an access ended up on AZB....

You guys really go out of your way to investigate and research me on a daily basis don't you ? hell I'll bet atleast one of you can tell me what time I got up and what I had for lunch today....:D

I am NOT "threatening" to committ suicide... I AM in an ultimatum situation and it's so easy for eveyone else to come up with the solutions to this serious situation isn't it ? hind-sight is 20/20 for a very logical reason you know !

FYI the CNC Mill was purchased before I was resentenced on a technical violation and there wasn't any money owed at the time of purchase becasue I had filed a motion to have supervision costs set aside a few years ago... but after I violated on a technicality and was resentenced completely by a different judge last march 2007 to 18 months probation with cost of supervision which totals almost 2500.00... now this presented a problem !

SO now with everything that has happened thusfar I realized that I should not have counted on the refinance to pay off this bill or I would NOT be in this situation right now !

Yes I chose to use all my money coming in for my business becasue it seemed like the right thing to do and a little personal as well... but I made a BAD business decision and now I'm f*cked !!!

I'm human.. I make mistakes.... but usually I can fix them when I do !

Coming up with the 2500.00 isn't the problem... coming up with 2500.00 by this friday IS !

I really didn't expect any of you to copy and paste this solicitation from another site where only people on my friends list can view it... becasue I did NOT feel this was appropriate for ALL my customers and fellow AZ'rs to see....

I'm sure some of you are in hysterics and can't wait until fri to see if I reply or not and probably are gambling on it right now !

Well here's a gamble... I need a short term loan that doubles your money in less than a year with collateral !

Unfortunately I cannot sell my CNC for 2500.00 that's why I'm asking for a loan for that amount becasue that machine can easily sell for 10,000.00 no problem at all !

But if I sell it than I am handicapping my future cuemaking business... I bought that piece of equipment as an investment to get a return on... NOT a loss !

Now if the amount I owed was 2 to 3 times higher than 2500.00 than I would have NO choice but to sell it, but I believe from a logical standpoint I have enough equity in that machine to secure the small short term loan and still maintain my vitality and cuemaking business... becasue let's face: one without the other is pretty useless in the big picture of my little world !

Well, I know some of you mabey even alot of you want to see me completely fail and vanish from AZ for good.. so hang in there you may get your wish !

But I'm pretty damn resourceful and are usually really good at coming through at the last minute when the pressures on and the stakes are high and I have no choice but to win.... well let's hope for my sake, this is NO exception !

So as for the rest of my sane fellow AZ'rs and customer's all I can say is don't worry ! I will come through one way or the other and my customer's will have thier cues as originally negotiated !

Well I have to get back to preparing my credentials on my CNC for my proposal and finish drawing up the contract and have it notorized then go talk to a couple of FRIENDS who ARE in the position to help if it benefits them enough to part with a few dollars of thier money for less than a year to double it....

For those interested.. I will keep you posted on my progress !

Also 2 cues are shipping out this week:

Charlie Edwards - TX
Jordan Burnett - CA

More to follow ! "hopefully" ;)

While I don't particularly like you Eddie, I do find posting about your financial needs in poor taste. Your past transgressions are relevant to a degree, but really shouldn't be used against you in public other than maybe by pm to protect people.

Of course not shipping cues, making claims about turn around time, and what not is fair game in my opinion.

Good luck in getting your money.

Yeah I take it with a grain of salt.... after all, I DID post this myself originally but NOT on AZB so it's not like I'm upset or was wronged in anyway....

The Arnot stunt is a whole different beast and that hurt emotionally more than anything else !

Thank you for the optmistic wish and I will probably need it... "alot of it !"

Take care, Eddie WHeat

WHY? You think this is his FIRST conviction? Or second? WRONG. He is an habitual criminal. He has a record longer than my Johnson.

All this crap about "loan me 2500 and I'll double your money"??
What a load of BS that is! He hasn't paid the COURT $2500. in THREE YEARS - how the EFF is he going to double my money in ONE YEAR??

Typical CON-MAN talking BS.

Yo, in America - don't do the crime if you can't do the time.

The Judge didn't alter the conditions because he (or the Court) has heard all your BS excuses and the "I'm the victim" garbage countless times already.

Have fun in the BIG HOUSE, EW. You won't be missed here.

PS: I don't think you can take any knee pads with you, but I'm sure one BBMF will be happy to supply them.
