i just saw someone's new custom case and got to thinking how cool it would be if i had a custom case with my name or handle on it. my name just isn't cool enough. i wish i'd picked something cooler!

Why don't you just use your real last name? People remember you then. KoolKat9Lives is the best one, but it's taken.

No.. I picked my name waaaaaaaaaaay back when. Before I was really educated about the whole "pool scene". I wanted to change it and just use my name, but I couldn't get any help for the powers that be.

I don't mind it so much, but being a lowly C player and the farthest thing from a pool huslter, It just doesn't fit me at all.

You wanna trade names???

:)

Nope I have used this handle since the early 80's. Most don't get it but I am a total metal head and Maiden is one of my favs.

Yeah! I hit the wrong key and got 12310bch. That's why I added, "George the Jump," to my signature. Actually , that's not too cool either but describes a bad habit of mine when shooting.
Double actually, since my Parkinson's causes some strange moves on my
part the moniker fits me perfectly now. :lmao:

i didnt pick my name, it was a nick name given to me in 86(I think its a honor to have a nick name in pool) or it meand you spend WAAAY to much time in to many pool rooms, LOL.

When I found AZB I was in Germanyand I was itching to get back into the pool world, I had been playing some at hime so I wasnt helpless, I did lose alot of speed but thats a another story.

I automatically said "Fatboy" when it asked for screen name I thoght I was a million to one to get "Fatboy", and as luck would have it poof there is was. Man was I happy. I dont take offence to the name, sometimes people are relutant to say it, if you see me call me Fatboy.

I was lucky thats for sure, now I just need to learn how to win.

I think everyone should have to use their real name. It would definitely keep some of the drama off the site.

Hey Fatboy... For all you "movers and shakers", I guess I should have said you should use "one of your real names" :). See you at the Derby.

They call me Soldier Sam at the pool room. Sam's a very common asian name and since the pool room is out north a lot of the guys that go there are asian (lot of asians in north stockton)

each sam got broken down into what they do or used to do. truck driver, soldier, pizza...etc

I got my AZ name from a nickname that only got used at the first pool room I played in a college student union and I didn't mention it again until I joined AZ. Simple enough, my friends thought I played like a robot that would in a fairly rigid way aim and make shots in quick succession. I played fairly fast then with only one practice stroke, if that and I was known to forgo food to practice 12 hours or more at a time. Oh yeah and it was only a few years after the Terminator movies started coming out so it wasn't a stretch to put those things together. I still think it sounds a little silly but don't really care as the only other nicknames I ever got in pool were my last name and some derogatory stuff for doing well in a lot of local tournaments. The only other thing I could think of using would have been THE ANCHOR as I was always the Anchor on my VNEA teams and I really liked being the guy to help pull the team up. Hmmm....maybe I should change it to THE ANCHOR....damn it...lol...I think I'll keep pooln8r for a while but I call dibs on THE ANCHOR if it hasn't been taken :)
