I just bought my daughter an all-in-one HP scanner, printer, fax, et cetera. If I can figure it out, I will let you know how.

I had to buy myself a new printer recently, an all-black HP Laserjet for work, and I spent over 3 hours trying to get the damn thing to work. I did everything I could but to no avail. I was almost ready to take it back, and then I read the troubleshooter FAQ guide which said to to turn the printer off and on, that this will take care of a multitude of problems. Well, when I hit the green-lit button to turn it off, what I really did was turn it on. The entire 3 hours of me trying to get my brand-new printer to work, it was not even turned on.

I cannot remember the year of this picture, again taken by Diana Hoppe of Poolpics by Hoppe, but it was my very first U.S. Open.

From left to right, there's Mike Howerton, Grady and Randi, me and mine. Those were happy times!
