The Saw...Wow, you listed a whole 7 names...out of hundreds, maybe thousands of American pro players, over the past 3 decades. You're certainly right about the Filapinos...they've been killing us for decades, and your reasoning is correct. That's why some Americans have gone to the PI, to get into action, trying to improve. But overall, my reasons are sound, regardless of what you think. If you look at the recent jumps in the Europeans and Chinese players, it can be directly traced to training and coaching. Oh...and btw, who is Siegel? Oh wait, you MEANT Sigel! LOL So I guess Tiger Woods using a coach EVERY WEEK has no value either, huh?

Sure, some of them may have a coach/trainer but what value does that really bring them in pool??? Want to know why the Fillipinos play so much better? It's not because of coaches/trainers, it's because they get in the grease and gamble with each other day in, day out. So it's action, not trainers, that make them excell.... Same with most of the Asian players. Did Johnny, Earl, Keither, Buddy, Lassiter, Siegel, Varner ever have a coach trainer? No!!! A coach/trainer gives a pro caliber player zero advantage over another and is most likely a hinderance if anything.
Scmidty has you pegged....![]()
