My best friend is Jewish and has begun really getting into her religion since her child was born. In fact, she celebrates some Jewish holidays I've never heard of, but her kid gets off from school during these days. :)

Rosh Hashanah started this past Wednesday, September 8th, at sundown, I think.

I'm Jewish , just like Jesus Christ , the King of the Jews .
And that tidbit of knowlege lets me take all the jewish holidays off . . . .

Having your first road partner be a Jew, that pretty much satisfies the requirement. You're Jewish, PT. At least honorary.

And what's up with Cannibal Lecture? I think he was Jewish, too. lol!

Where's Adam Sandler? Surely, he can sort it all out for us.

My favorite Jewish Guys in Hollywood are Mel Brooks, and Wood Allen? Both of these guy made fun of being Jewish!

Favorite Jewish Lady was the lady who I call Mom and was Murdered in 1988.

One of my favorite stories, supposedly true.

"Ms Goldstein will your mother mind the Christian cross over her hospital bed."

“Ma, the lady wants to know …”

“I heard her, I heard her,” Mrs. Goldstein says with one eye opened to view the scene.

“That Jesus boy, one of our boys, did so well in the world -- why should I mind?”

Happy holidays

Thank you for your kind words.

While we're on the subject, who were some of the all-time great Jewish pool players? I know there have been some. Who is the Sandy Koufax/Hank Greenberg of the pool world? (Besides our own Jay Helfert, of course)

Thanks for your holiday wishes.
Gut Yontif to all our other Jewish members.

I think Chico Marx of the Marx brothers fame was quite the player (and gambler & womanizer), and there's always the possibility of the Howard brothers (or Horwitz or best known as Moe, Shemp & Curly).
Lets not forget Mike Siegel as one of the all time heavy hitters.
A Happy & healthy to all.

When your friend builds a Sukkah, then you know she's in to it. ;)

Here's wishing all the best, health and happiness in the new year. :D

It's uncertain but i believe John Kling and his nephew Bennie Allen were
Jewish. They were both world champions and owners of one of the all-time
great billiard rooms,Kling and Allen's in Kansas City.

Bernie Schwartz busted a few world champions.

But i think Mike Sigel gets the nod as best Jewish player.

Paul Bruesloff of Detroit gets the high-roller award.
