Really clean looking cue Dave. Doesn't get anymore traditional than that! Especially the blank made by Davis himself. Very nice conversion.
 
Using the thicker silver rings at the joint was The Way To Go! For some reason these thicker rings always remind me of one word: Quality! -or as Burton Spain (tutor of John Davis) has put it when referring to Balabushka: The Bedrock of Quality.

Superb, clean cue - keep it up!
 
Saw this beauty on page two and wanted to bumb her. Seems like a very fair price considering what a blank goes for from John.
