Brazilian Rosewood box cue built by Joel Hercek. This is one of those dream builds that came to reality today. Joel's work was flawless as usual. I love this cue and can't thank you enough Joel.

Here is the skinny on the cue:
Gold rings above and below the hoppe ring. Joel's 1st Bushka ring, with gold rings and dots. Gold rings and dots at the joint and shaft rings. All inlays that are in the ivory are gold. The coolest and smallest inlay is the gold "Made By Joel Hercek" in the butt.

This is one of those cues that you have to see in person to appreciate. The pictures don't do it justice. I will try to take some outside when we get a little sunshine.

WOW....love the ivory 'veneer' box outlines and the wood grain inside.....super classy work !! Congrats to you and Joel. :thumbup:

Early in the 2012 year, I think we already have a strong contender for cue of the year--or cue of the decade. That's incredible!!

The cue has class written all over it..
The piece of Brazian Rosewood is fantastic.
Having gold is the boxes just makes a timeless design into
a sexy work of art. Joel does some of the cleanest work in the business..

Troy, this year Joel is just cranking out one incredible masterpiece after another, and this one tops them all.......is just so damn HOT....I can hardly stand it.
 
I am not a fan of box cues, but that one is sweet. Tons of work in it but it doesnt look busy. I think some cues can have so much going on in them they just dont look right. This one is all class by an all class cuemaker. Thanks for sharing and take care.

Congratulations Troy...
Knowing Joel the way I do, I have one question for you.
How hard did you have to twist his arm to get him to
put his name on the cue? Joel does some of the best
work on planet earth and yet he is a very humble and
unassuming guy. This cue speaks volumes regarding
his talent. The design is fresh, and while I wouldn't
normally think of ordering a box cue, Brother you've
got me thinking...
